It has not been Jess's garden since day one of y'all buying it. It's yours and Nathan's now. That's what Jess always said, she was getting that place ready for someone else to come in and be able to start gardening right away. She also said she hoped whoever got it next would do more with it. So you do what y'all want to do!

That was so thoughtful to prepare those who are highly attached to that space. Another who had a true legacy garden , sold her home /garden to those thought to have a heart for the garden . However , the new owners ripped out some of the most iconic features , a week after moving in and dropped a video of it gone with no warning ! It cost those new vloggers probably thousands of potential viewers , not to mention broke a lot of hearts . So hats off to you for being so kind hearted and aware to the fact , the transforming impact spaces have on people and their hearts !

I’ve followed Sydney since she and Tommy bought the house from Linda. While they did remove some of Linda’s iconic plantings, they have made it their own with a different style garden. If they simply ripped it out and planted grass, or just let it “go to pot”, I would feel differently. Using an arborist and other experts certainly demonstrates their interest in improving the property. Lastly, Linda was shocked to learn of the changes, but she has certainly improved her new property and continues to provide me and other viewers with new plantings, design choices, and an education to help me grow as a gardener.

Watch out where it stays so wet. We have a spot like that. And we got so much rain this year. We were mowing behind the beds, and before we came in, my son asked, " What's that on your pants?". It was a leech! Those beds are coming out!

The goal you mentioned about laying the groundwork for someone else to find progress … that’s our goal too. We have an acre here, it’s got a great back yard with a 24x24 greenhouse, and a little 20x32 ft orchard with 5 apple trees, a 20x24 herb garden, and another fenced garden, and between it all, 27 raised beds for growing all kinds of good things. We kind of imagine some “city-stuck” family with young kids finding this a dream-come-true, and another family enjoying it as much as we and our four children have.😊

🎉 This is huge news 🗞️ I remember the first time I saw you on Jess’s channel and you complimented each other because your style was completely different than her style. This was before you started your channel. However, at some point, it seemed like you started making your videos look like hers and then when you bought the farm, it seemed like you were doing as Jess would do. I’m happy to see you’re returning to your style 💯. You’re unique and it’s perfect for our world 🌎. You’re PERFECT as you are. BAZUR! ❤🎉

I can’t wait to see what you do along your journey to create future❣️❣️What works for the two of you and your family and for Jess and Miah were 100% right when they told you “hey it’s your farm, your house, your property”. I think it’s beautiful that the two of you asked for their approval before you bought the farm☺️. I still believe that it was a big gesture on their part to express their support like they did😍. it’s always such a positive thing to see & experience people doing the right thing, saying the right thing, and being so loving and kind and supportive of each other🤗. And like you said your needs for that Farm had some similarities and yet are very different. I’m just so excited and can’t wait to experience all that. The two of you are doing and going to be doing❣️❣️🥰🥰😘😘🪻🌷👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

You go girl love the idea you got make work for you. And give yourself grace every garden this time of year has weeds and seems a bit unmanageable...I've come to find that they too have a purpose your garden still grows and in this heat those weeds are keeping the ground cool and helping the soil. But I do feel your pain on the morning glory tired to beat out the fense with pole beans so that maybe they would take over first but now have pole morning glory ivy bean war. And Johnson grass girl am telling you now night mare. No matter how hard try keep it out comes roght back in the 2 sec takes to pull it. I've also learn be like ok so what the pos in this right now it taken over but also keep thing ground loose not compacted. So maybe there is relationship there not seen yet. But yet to see how keep from taken over. So give yourself guys every garden has a time to go crazy and have to reset it. That what great about it ya got take over with weeds while u paying more attention in harvesting and putting it away. But hey made a wonderful harvest now it jsut time rotate it out and hit the reset for something new and that will feel great. Keep up the great work you are so awesome ans all that u all have accomplished would love to keep learning and figure out way to incorporate that here. Take care and stay hydrated and sweat those toxins out

I have to say you guys have it together. You spend time looking at your farm and thinking through what will work. Having the removal of all the standing water is a good move and fixing the fence so larger equipment can enter is a major change which will definitely make your time more efficient and productive. I have to agree with Nathan, 4 hours of weed eating is a waste. And if I may suggest. We are in the same zone here in Virginia and deal with a steady heat and humidity which the horse flies and other flying pest thrive in. My solution is AVON skin so soft bath oil. These pest despise the smell which frees me from constantly battling them or having to come back inside before I am ready to. Love your plan, can't wait to see it implemented.

As Miah and Jess said - it is your place now. You have to make it work for you guys. Morning Glorys are very invasive. So is Kudzu. Were I lived in SC years ago, kudzu was bad. I understand about near a AF base with planes flying low. My ex was AF, so we have lived on the AF base. Now I live 2 miles from a ANG base that does live training. We deal with helicopters flying around all the time as well as hearing the live shooting which some times shake the house.

When we lived in Illinois many years ago it was against the law to plant morning glory. The purpose was to keep that invasive plant out of the cornfields as it destroys machinery and harvests as it winds its way into those fields. Excited to see your property transformation and happy you have a plan that works for you. I feel the same way about giving gifts. Once I give it to you it is no longer mine and I have no say in whether you keep it and love it or pass it on. I'm good either way. just don't keep it and pretend to love it.

Hey y'all, Did you know they brought the Kudzu to Mississippi for soil erosion back in the 1930's and no they been fighting it ever since. I really hope that this works for you. Y'all have been thinking, planning and praying I'm sure. I like the idea and hope you get the plan together and start the process. Y'all got that terrible heat there for days and weeks at a time. We here in the frozen state of Minnesota had two days in a row of 98° F with heat index of 112° F. The thing is ain't no body here any where near ready for that. We will go from this to -24° F this winter about a 122° swing. We have avg 13 days above 90° F this summer we have over 30. We seem to have 90% or more almost every morning this summer because of the 10,000 lakes. I will pray for y'all that God gives you the clarity to see His desire for you and He shows you the plans He has for your family. The grace to make the best decisions and the faith to lean on Him in the hard times. Be safe drink water and then drink some more. bye for now
