Hi and welcome to our channel
Spending a few days in the Lake District at CAMH club site Coppice Park in Coniston. Few set backs as we arrived but nothing major, we was soon looking for our next cold water adventure.

Brilliant, yeh we go over 66 for lakes it's our only route from Teesside really but its always a gamble this time of year because if it snows they normally close it, had to cancell a couple last year due to it being closed, how lucky with the filter !! Everytime something goes wrong on our van its never the cheapest bit 😂😂 oh and I was howling at Steve doing his oh ah oh ah on camera in the water, he normally seems quite awkward on camera but looks like he's starting to warm to it now 👍 looking forward to part 2, can you kayak on Coniston? Looks like a good parking spot to launch our itiwit 3 from ? Cheers Mick 👍

Hi thanks for watching and the tarn what we had a swim in on this video is Yewdale tarn, not sure about kayaking in as it's a small tarn, but saying that there is good access to it via a layby at roadside. But coniston water is perfect for kayaking on. 😊

I was trying to guess where you were from, and I had you as West Yorkshire, Leeds area… but then I couldn’t understand why you were using the A66 instead of the A65… so I’m none the wiser 😂 We go across from Harrogate and use A65 for South Lakes (anything below Ambleside/Gt Langdale and A66 for North and NW Lakes 🙂
