On September 29th, 2016, the Winnipeg Police Service partnered with Salisbury Morse Place School for the presentation of a time capsule created by their grade six students. This time capsule will be placed in the new police Headquarters building, and sealed for 50 years.
Acting Chief of Police, Art Stannard, as well as other representatives of the Winnipeg Police Service, as well as Trustees and the Superintendent of the River East Transcona School Division were in attendance.
The theme of the time capsule is “Our Community”.
