If Iskcon devotees adopt veganism that would be the best thing because I find it very hypocritical when ISKCON people condemn slaughtering of animals and at the same time promote cow milk and milk products.

​@@Skrullx273 I believe its just a matter of time ISKCON hopefully adopts veganism. As of now they request devotees to buy milk from gowshalas run by devotees.

@@Skrullx273 using milk products is not bad but yes, if you don't allow cow's calf to drink first or forcing her for milk than it hypocritical. Lot of things are made from raw milk and I've seen they treat cows very well better than diary business people.

When we talk about 1.4 billion people, commercialisation of cows will be needed to fulfill their needs and that’s bad. So rather than supporting this we should just abstain from milk and milk products completely and let these animals live in peace.

​@@peepalfarm same brother , my dad stay in panipat haryana and I stay in delhi with my mother and sister , initially I stopped eating nonveg , I rebbeled a lot and after some days my mother and sister started following some " baba or guru " so they also stopped eating non veg. I am a mbbs student and I used to tell them that we can get enough nutrients and proteins from plant sources also but they always neglected me , also most of the dangerous diseases that the human civilisation has encountered are connected to animal meat in some way or the other , like HIV , EBOLA , COVID , Also RED MEAT increases chances of Cancer, but no one used to listen to me 😂😂. I have observed a very strange thing happening in my family since we left non veg , it's been 6 months and the heated arguments between me , my mother my sister has stopped , it seems as if we are now much more relaxed and calm , I don't know why I even tried reading about this on internet and searched a lot about any hormonal or chemical changes in the bodynbut couldn't find anything. Also my mother started reading Bhagwat Gita. Just wanted to share my story ❤

@@peepalfarm Why are you targeting Iskon ?? You should at least have the correct, basic knowledge about ISKON before commenting on them. The Iskon have many practices regarding milk consuming, like they don't take the milk off the cow for first 21 days and let the calf get the milk at first. They don't mistreat the cows like putting injection on the cows to get milk etc. The point is ISKON goshalas are totally different thing than other milk factory or farms.

Yeah but you don't keep calfs and dry cows. Only cows which give milk only get good treatment.

We keep cows aund alse bulls use bulls for transport yes and also for farming the thing is you keep cows and as you get calf also keep it ask your family to take milk from you or take a calf and keep in this way ​world must operate every house hold must have 2 cows atleast and 2 calfs bull to use it for small farming and eat natural this is iskcon mayapur model@@harsh9023

Ahimsa milk is marketing term with the same cruel practices.

The ahimsa milk dairys mostly practice dohan(i.e taking milk from 2tits and leaving 2 tits for calf) cost of such milk goes higher as the input costs becomes more while output is less such milk costs atleast around 150-300₹ per litre one would have to sell and also will have to balance the costs by making byproducts of cow waste like from gaumutra and dung their are some dairys like hetha,klimom and several others who sell their milk at 250₹ to 300₹ it's better than other commercial dairys but cannot conclude it as complete ahimsa milk still some level of hinsa is involved and yes it's more of a marketing gimmick Then their comes 2nd level of ahimsa dairy concept which doesn't exist at all where one has to let the calf drink milk completely from udder i.e from all 4 tits and once he is full and steps aside by own take out the reserved or remaining milk and this milk would cost around 600-800₹ litres to make the dairy a bit profitable it's much better than the above mentioned dohan concept & modern commercial dairy concept yet complete ahimsa is not achieved some level of himsa is still involved now the question is even if cruelty is less here how many of our common citizens can afford this super costly milk for daily consumption? Another non-existent concept i s let the calf and mother cow be with each other freely all the time insuch case one won't be able to get even a single drop of milk or if lucky could get some in this concept one can't sale milk at all only luckily can consume milk sometimes. Let's talk about the 5th and last concept where one doesn't take milk from cow at all just rely on gobar and gaumutra of non milking old aged cow or even milking cow for making various beneficial byproducts like compost,manure Bio CNG etc & medicines in this concept only gobar & gaumutra is yours and this is what we humans deserve only gobar & gaumutra not milk and only this is the concept where one can achieve punya of real gauseva.
