It's possible there was a legitimate reason for him to move his ball as you can see Bart is walking up the hill towards him and taking a look. They might not have wanted to explain the situation, but looked to me like something they were aware of.

@@wes1588 that green was kind of shaped like a lima bean. lets say steven hit the green but he was 40 yards away and on the bottom tear but still of the green and tigs came up just short of the green say a foot off but was only 5 yards short of the pin that steven should move on because he is on the green? that makes no sense to me. idk im and engineer so maybe thats why i think this way.

No penalty necessary. Have to be on the green in closest to the pin challenge. Simple. Micah should have lost before they even left the tee box.

This is actually a really good solution imo. A lot of people on here saying that it should have to be on the green and not matter at all if it isn't but there's no way a ball just off the green on the fringe 15 ft away from a backspin should lose to a shot that just catches the green but finishes 60 ft away (just an example off the top of my head). A penalty system like this is actually a really good idea cause it rewards you for hitting the green, but also doesn't overly punish good shots that just go off.
