We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university and live life full-time. We're planning to visit every country in the world before we're 30 with an initial goal of 100 before the end of 2022. By the time of posting this video, we're both 24 :)
Morocco was country #79/197🌍
We saw and did a lot in our short time in Casablanca thanks to our lovely guides and newfound friends! From walking the streets of the Old Medina and the Souk to trying sfenj, prickly pear, and having a delicious Moroccan breakfast with M'semen, harcha, batbout, amlou, and mint tea, our 24 hours here were filled with joy, excitement, and new impressions. We can't wait to be back!
Thank you for watching!🙏😍

One of the reasons Morocco is a good place to visit is its varied geography! Morocco doesn't just have paradise beaches and sweeping expanses of desert, it also has mountains! Morocco has two major mountain ranges, the Rif Mountains in the north and the Atlas Mountains stretching through the middle of the country.

This is the first time i see someone portraying morocco as it is, you either find people only filming that exotic old medina side of morocco or another one filming tall buildings without a glimpse of the streets, while this in this video this is how you really feel walking around Casablanca, it's between the two, so now I know if I watch the other videos on your channel I'll get a genuine portrait of all the other places you visit

In Chile prickly pears are called “tuna” 🤪! The colours are so vibrant and you capture them very well! I was in Morocco as a child and I particularly remember the mint tea, especially when it was poured by a “professional” waiter! It would be interesting to know about COVID restrictions and how the Moroccans are dealing with the pandemic… That was certainly a whirlwind trip!

The program of the trip is very good. It includes a visit to Marrakesh, and then to the desert, which is Ouarzazate, where Hollywood films are filmed. I recommend adding three days to the trip until the north of Morocco is visited, as it is the most important city of Fez and the blue city of Chefchaouen and Tetouan and tanger, There are picturesque mountains and warm Mediterranean beaches. I hope you have a good time in this is a beautifal country , delicious food and th hospitality of kind and helpful peaple

I'm from Morocco and the question you asked about which language to use to say thank you is a really good question haha, Actually it depends on the region you are in, If I'm Casablanca/Rabat/Fes I usually use "layhafdek" or "shukran" or even "Merci", the 3 of them are used, when I'm in southern Morocco (Agadir - Ouarzazate and regions where berber is the most spoken language) I would use "Tanemmirt" or "Ak isserbeh rebbi" which means Thank you in berber. Great video by the way

I'd say have a tour guide if you are not with someone who speaks arabic. not everyone is trustworthy. not that they're bad, but just to be on the safe side since it's your first time

Morocco is very diverse country. That is to say that the moroccan dialect is influenced by several languages such as French, Spanish, Amazigh and Arabic. Most people would understand if you say Shukran, Merci or Gracias. I hope you guys enjoyed your 24 hours in Casablanca and I'm pretty sure that this wonderful country has still a lot of beautiful things to show you once you come back next year !!!!!
