Just a small tip. Don’t let the eye cream pipet come in any contact with the eye. Then you have the nasty stuff on the tube and the risk is that you reinfect and transfer it to the other goats when you are giving it.

I worked for a corneal surgeon (eye doctor) for 12 yrs. If Juno has an ulcer it will grow rapidly and be painful 😢 if she was humane I would give her the ointment and drops several times a day. If it gets worse they will either put stronger medication on her cornea then stitch her eye lid close for a few weeks or they will have to remove her eye 👁️ if it gets to bad. Sorry for the crappy news I try not to a Debbie downer but ulcers are painful. We watch all the morrow videos keep up the good work 😊

Please double-check to make sure the peacocks aren't pecking Little Foot's sore spot on her back. Birds will often do that if they see a wound; that's why it's called a pecking order, and it's a dominance thing. Good luck with the goat babies. ❤

Jake, maybe you could talk to Jami about Juno's eye, she's Doctored a lot of animals, she might have some suggestions, and she has a whole pharmacy full of meds and supplies over at the sanctuary! Nobody wants to see Juno lose her eyesight, and that could very well happen if you have to wait till the 23rd before they see her! 💞

Moo is so strong and will do anything for food. I hope his big head is okay. Poor Juneau. I hope you’re able to get an earlier vet appointment for her. Has Bri seen anything like it during her time as a vet tech? Maybe she has some ideas of what you can do. My Shih Tzu had dry eye. Her eyes were a mess. I had to clean her eyes out and put drops in them everyday. She did still end up losing most of her sight, but she was much older. Hope those fly traps work.

Jake, I agree with someone’s comment about getting some advice from Jami. She may have some ideas about how to help with Juneau until you can get her to the vet. I liked the idea of the peafowl being friends with Littlefoot until the peacock started pulling her feathers. And as a side note: the most colorful of the peafowl is the male and the less colorful is the female. P.S. I’ve used those flytraps before and they work really well but they do stink. Try to hang them up high enough so the animals can’t reach them. The flies will still be attracted to them because of the smell

Hopefully in time they will let you interact more and more and except the love you both want to give them. The fly traps looked rank interesting to see if they worked. Love you and how much you love animals. Been a sub for quite some time. You're going to have tons of new content with your new additions! FYI: Both Emus and Peacocks are territorial. I was hoping that with Littlefoot being young, maybe the peacocks would accept her as part of the flock. But Littlefoot was being inspected and pecked by Jack, the male Peacock (Diane has the muted colors). You’ll need to keep a close eye on their future encounters for a bit to see if Jack becomes more aggressive, plucking feathers. She sat quietly as she's young and submissive to a male. Not sure how old/ mature the peacocks are now, but they may have to caged during "higher hormonal " times. P.s. Please get Littlefoot a food bowl. Emus are slower eaters at times, and you don't want to be wasting that exotic feed mix. And they usually love grapes! She's small (as is her throat) so you may need to halve them for awhile. Same goes for grape tomatoes. P.p.s. Littlefoot was "inspecting" your ring because they like Shiny objects. Emus are naturally curious birds. So Lyssa will have to watch wearing earrings and satiny hairbands around her. 😊

You cam tell tgat sweet Juno trusts you both so much. ❤❤🐐❤❤ I know when my kids had Pink Eye or anyone in the Human Kingdom, you're not supposed to touch the dropper to the eye because it makes the dropper unsterile and will continue passing it from one eye to the other.
