This week is our second video in our "Behind the Braids" family vlog series! This week, you'll get an inside look at the morning routine of our family of eight! Brooklyn and Bailey are the first ones up in the morning, and then begins the everyday morning struggle of getting the rest of the kids out of bed!
You'll see how Mindy and the kids prepare and pack the assembly line of lunches, the process of getting all the kids dressed, eating and making breakfast, practicing piano and then hopefully catching the bus!

For sure! I can imagine that would be difficult at first, when you've never had to manage African/afro type hair before. Obviously I'm not black, but my hair is EXTREMELY curly, and my poor mother never knew how to deal with it when I was little.

2021 anyone?? They've all grown so much. Brooklyn and Bailey graduated from COLLEGE and Baey is engaged and Brooklyn is moving to Utah. Rylan has a car. Paisley is now on the cheer squad. Daxton is a handsome young man (which he always was) and Kamri is now in her 2nd semester of college!!!

What amazing and kind parents- just wow. Honestly I grew up in An abusive household and I used to watch you and your family few years ago as a teen and I would on one hands feel happy and warm, on the other so jealous and sad that I grew up so cold. Because of how amazing you treat your children, I can assure you they’re gonna grow up to be great people. You guys really are the best parents I’ve ever seen.
