Used to love Disney but when I saw the bearded man dressed as a princess working at the princess dress up place for girls, how do you explain that to your daughter?

I’ve been Disney obsessed my whole life. But it’s a different Disney these days. The planning involved is over the top. And it seems to be a magnet for Chester’s and clowns.

I personally didn't enjoy Disney, the adults were rude, and narcissistic. Too hot, and the food was way over priced, and was not good iny opinion.

I only go to Disneyland every 10 years now since 40th Park birthday. Going next year for the 70th and each 10 years the magic is less and less 😮 especially now it looks like on KZfaq you have to be glued to your smart phone to reserve this & that not to mention paying extra to cut the long lines from others waiting. So sad...😢

We live near Dollywood and don't go anymore. Too crowded. Too expensive. Even during local discount days....Too expensive and way too crowded.

Been watching a while now, love your channel. I live near dland and knotts, knotts is great for strolling around very family friendly, i dont do hardcore coasters, but love log ride,mine ride and big foot rapids, and outdoor bbq place for lunch, shows are fun too. God bless you both.

My son won a trip to Walt Disney World. We stayed at the Disney Yacht and Beach Club. It was such an amazing trip. Everything was included. We loved it. 👏❤️🙏

There are some unique treasures in Ohio, I’m doing now the Hartman Rock Garden and will do the Wright Patterson museum and other places as well, like these 2 locations are free so that is definitely affordable and amazing

I went to Disney over 4th of July to watch my nieces in a dance competition. I didn’t go to the Parks but did go to Disney Springs and boy was it super crowded. I don’t think I will go again over the 4th holiday. Very hot and crowded. Off season is better. When you & Jessica go in September it shouldn’t be crowded because the kids are back to school. Years ago if you went to Sea World one visit you got a pass for the entire year. Maybe the pass was for Florida residents . I don’t remember because it was years ago . One thing that is super expensive is if you have to park at one of the hotels. Most are around $36.00 per day . I think it would be cost effective to fly and not have to pay for parking and take a shuttle to the Parks or even Uber which would be much cheaper. I did see my first Drone show at Disney Springs. It was awesome!

I have loved Disney for over 70 years. I always wanted to go to Disney World, but it's never going to happen. When I was young, Uncle Walt always did the intro to the films and a chat afterwards. You always felt he was talking just to you. I have really enjoyed your travel vlogs. Perhaps when you go to Florida, Jess could do shopping vlogs. I would love to really have a look around the shops from a woman's point of view. I do know that if you have villas or lodges you can get your shopping delivered to you from your shopping apps. I think your saving tips would be helpful to anyone thinking of going. When you branch out, Jess could always do some crafting vlogs. I'm sure everyone would love to see her artistic side. Also, would you think of doing a tasting vlog? Buying any recommendations from subs or new items and trying them to get out of your comfort zone. I enjoy Disney and Universal. Next year, I hope to venture out and maybe take an Alaskan cruise, too. We will see. I have a big upcoming trip to Universal in the next few months. Looking forward to it. Hope to see your travel content!

If you ever go to Virginia Beach or Williamsburg Restoration you would probably enjoy a visit to Busch Gardens. I always remember it being a lot of fun. Went there with my family years ago and also as a chaperone on two separate class trips from NY. It was about 25 years ago so I couldn’t say what it is today. I got to go with granddaughter to California Adventure and Disneyland . They were CA residents so always had season passes. Imagine Disneyland 1hr away. My favorite theme park features are the Tower of Terror ( old haunted hotel fantasy) and the Haunted Mansion in CA with the New Orleans mansion. All you have to do is get your shortest route down to the interstate 64 and it will take you straight there in about 6/7 hours.

Disney has become a huge rip off. Universal is very dark, with all the HP stuff which is full of witchcraft. No thanks. I like Knoebels, I can enjoy the park and ride the gentle things while the younger crowd heads to the coasters.

Dollywood used to be called Silver Dollar City years ago. Dollywood is a good amusement park, but a lot of hills to walk up. The Knoxville, Tn Zoo is nice too, but again a lot of hills to climb. I miss Opryland myself. They used to have a roller coaster called the Rockin Robbin and it played the song, "Rockin Robbin". I loved that thing! Lol. Although I was 11 when I was at the park, but from my remembrance, I think I would still love it. My dad met Marty Robbins or Robin's, not sure the spelling of his last name. Country singer. He said that he was a super nice guy. I love Universal Studio's and Disney. I would say my favorite ride at Disney is Space Mountain, indoor roller coaster. A lot of neat rides there. My friend and I went to Universal last October and had a blast! I didn't go to the Halloween Nights, but wish I had now. Well, sorry...I have written a book! 🤣 Have a great day!

Mattel Adventure Park is newer in Glendale, Arizona (Phoenix West Valley). Also they are building one in Kansas City, Kansas.

I take a water bottle (and a holder that slips over my shoulder so I'm not having to hold my water bottle all day) and then stop at quick service (or outside Casey's Corner) and get free ice water. It's great!

Lol, we are Floridian and have not been to Disney since their 25th anniversary, my boys did not care for it much, they preferred Universal. My DIL loves Disney. It's just too big, too many people & too hot for us and stupid lines. We cruised the last 15 years, much cheaper vacation, our status gets us free cabins now so I literally can choose a certain 7 day cruise for less than $ 200 and go to 3/4 countries. Sea World we went to about 2 yrs ago, it's OK, but nothing like Disney. When the kids were younger we took them to Valdosta, GA to Wild Adventures more, it's a great park, not to big, rides for all sizes, water park included and Sat evenings, free concerts and you can bring your own food/grill out in the parking area, it's a doable walk, much cheaper annual pass for families than Disney.

I heard that Six Flags is buying Cedar Fair which includes Kings Island. There will be a season pass that will be good at all of the Six Flags parks. That would be awesome! I'd love to go to Universal some day. I'm a huge HP fan! Disney World harps been a dream vacation my whole life. Only problem is I hate the Florida weather!

Silver dollar city was the park name before Dollywood. We Iive in Florida we skip Disney these days it’s to hard to get the E ticket rides without paying. It’s to complicated and expensive for family time these days Dollywood sea world and Busch gardens are our go to we love valcano bay and adventure island for our water parks. All my life I have always saved my tax return just for our vacations. It’s our reward for working hard every year. I also as well do my research & always make reservations ( if needed) a year ahead of time.

I have not been to a theme park in a long time, and I have never been to Disney. I am just not up to them now, but I really enjoyed Hershey Park more than any of them years ago. I hope it is still good. Have a great time everywhere.(That Coronado place was fantastic!) There is evil in EVERY big corporation.We'd never do or buy anything if we had to scrutinize every idea each place had. I could mention some "GOOD Christian" business that is an embarrassment that spreads hatred against people of other religions, (Do they know Jesus at all?)
