Woooow I went to "Secret beach" like 4 years ago and it was really messy looking like a wasteland, there were no trees and no grass and I thought it would become a resort but instead it became so beautiful !!! i'm coming back in 2 weeks so I'm so excited to see that! Beautiful video btw!

So fun!! the beaches there look INCREDIBLE!! we've been in croatia and all the beaches are beautiful here but rocky/pebbly! Nui Beach was our favorite too!! looks so secluded, so beautiful and clean!!

Great video! Thailand's beaches are usually overlooked when comparing them to the ones in Philipines. You just have to go off the beaten path and you'll find fantastic secluded beaches like the ones you guys have shown here.

Secret Beach at sunset has been one of the highlights of Koh Lanta for us, we almost drove by on the bike and noticed the sun shining down the dirt track and had to drive down! Absolutely amazing!

Another great and useful video. What I could add is this: generally, the further you go south, the less populated beaches you'll find, my favourite being Kantiang Beach, with the Pupa View Restaurant on top of the cliff on the southern end. It seems to be in a perfect spot between being crowded and providing things like easy access and a choice of places to eat or drink. There is also another one between and Nui Bay and Bamboo beach called Khlong Chak - also a great one, with Last Beach restaurant.

I lived in Koh Lanta for several years. Your video brought back good memories. Apart from mispronouncing most of the beach names, you did a good job. By the way, it's called Kantiang Bay, not Beach.

Pad Thai at San’s sunset bar on long beach is excellent by the way if you get to try it Would also recommend the time for lime cooking classes! Best experience on lanta and it helps to fund the animal shelter on the island!

Ugh I was there in February! Only had 2 days and spent one of them doing the 4 island tour but this video would have been amazing then lol We didn't rent a bike which made it a lot harder to get around though. I wanna go back now!

So happy you found Nui Bay beach! We found it by accident riding on our motorbike towards the national park. We saw the rock that said “open welcome” and the steep path and thought well why not! The Muslim family that lives it that shack are so kind! I would recommend to anyone to eat there it was some of the best food we had on the island and we loved talking to the family and watching their kids play :)

Drone laws are a touchy subject. They are constantly changing. As we’re not officials and probably not the best to give legal advice on drone piloting, our recommendation is to check online before your trip to see if there are any new laws or requirements for flying. I can tell you that we've never had an issue, anywhere we've been, with airport security trying to confiscate our drone. Hope this helps! Safe travels!

@@IntAffair Thanks for replying! I read something, there's a registration process which could take months! However, they wont confiscate the drone at the airports but we must be aware of the flying areas! Basically, all the islands with no people around, national parks or temples either. ;)

You missed one beach between Klong Khong and Nui beach that is called Klong Nin. It also has restaurants and small bars, but it's really clean and quiet. No party bars. And the beach is super wide + every restaurant/bar has it's beachfront with seating area and shades etc. Klong Khong is by far the worse. Suitable for partying only :D

Good video. But may i know, for each beach that you went to, where did you park your scooter? I’ve read lots of blogs saying that their scooters have been stolen/get damaged by the agency itself just to get the tourists pay more. So I’m a lil worry about this 😅

You guys missed Klongdoa beach (or Klong Doa), It was amazingly beautiful. Just a very short tuk tuk ride south or Saladan Pier. There are lots of places to eat on the beach, BUT no shade! OK, maybe in low season, basically no traffic, but in high season, basically quite a bit busier.... It looks like you guys are having a blast. Don't forget the sunscreen... did you include sunscreen in your cost for the day? Why is sunscreen so expensive in SE Asia?

I spent a week on Koh Lanta In Nov. 2019, and it was by far my favorite place in Thailand!! When we were there, the beaches weren’t empty like this, but as you traveled further south, they emptied, and the people that were on the beaches were very chill. Out of the three weeks, we were in Thailand, our time on Koh Lanta was probably the most relaxing. We lost all track of time and didn’t know what day it was half the time because we were so disconnected from everything. (we used your travel videos as inspiration on where to go since we were first-timers. Can't wait to get back there again!)

I think you were there in rain season. Meaning that beaches are not cleaned and water are not that clear. should go back there in winter its much better

You need the thingy (official term) that holds your lens cap by sticking to it and the strap goes around the lens. I fought against one for years but finally saw the light. This camera strap will make your camera feel lighter www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/118283-REG/OP_TECH_USA_1501372_Pro_Loop_Strap_Black.html. I just don’t know if they deliver to remote islands lol.
