Had booked the hycross hybrid top variant. Calicut dealer quoted us "TWO YEARS" waiting period. When I visited the autoexpo and confronted a toyota executive regarding this he replied "Sir, it's due to overwhelming response from customers." I simply smiled and asked "So there will be price protection right?" He was at loss of words😅

Altroz racer il has a major update .it has a 1.2l turbo petrol with 120ps and 170nm output ,that is same as power figures of nexon petrol which is matted to a 6 speed gear box

The Suzuki fronx with the booster jet should be an interesting pick. The altroz racer would really be phenomenal if it makes into production becoming the closest replacement for the polo GT tsi with it's updated performance and agile handling. Also with the BS6 phase 2 norms kicking in, the altroz diesel was one of the engines which was speculated to be discontinued but people say that it would still have the diesel engine. Hope the diesel gets to live in the altroz. Apart from from the MG Air, another miss was the next gen Hyundai Verna.

Baleno is very good spacious vehicle. But i feel it does not require large Bonnet / hood since there are lot of vacant space under the hood coz of a small petrol engine. If they reduce bonnet, it can be wisely used for interior space or trunk space for luggage. Also they need reduce hollow door width wisely to increase shoulder room.

I have booked Baleno alpha AMT, but now thinking about waiting for fronx 1L turbo automatic. But will the fuel efficiency be less for turbo engine with Torque converter.
