The blood of titan evaporate with steam. Please refer to episode 9 (first few minutes) when levi and hange killed titans, their blood stain evaporate with steam

20:47 "how did he have space in there..." Dude. It's Reiner. He's just that good. He was 3rd place in the top 10 of that class of the cadet corps. It's easy to overlook how *ass-kicking* the music is once Female Titan shows up.

Always been my absolute favourite episode of season 1, which I still think is the weakest. The feeling of lurking dread and suspense is unforgettable.
