This is an old vlog I made when my business consulting team (BTS Consulting) went to Cumbria for our very first business trip to do the sites inspection and our primary research for our master's consultancy project. (Oh my! I just realised how fat I was before I lost my weight now T.T) It is divided into 2 vlogs, while this is for the Day 1 of our trip. To gather the latest and sufficient information to develop our recommendations for the organisation we work for, our team decided to travel to most of the major towns in the Cumbria region.
We stayed one night at the Cornerways Guest House in Carlisle, Cumbria. The guest house owner is so friendly and the rooms are clean and cosy. During the day, we had our lunch at an Italian restaurant called "Sotto" when we just arrived there. The food is a bit pricey but it is quite delicious. After that, we walked around the Carlisle city centre to do our research and met with our mentor, Dr.Leslie for beers. We also visited the Carlisle Cathedral, which is a medieval Cathedral that is located in North West England and, standing on the border with Scotland for almost 900 years, it is worth for a visit and the entrance is free. We also went to another restaurant called The Pompeii Steakhouse for dinner and back to our accommodation afterwards.
