Beautiful piece!💜 Novice question: if you put a dam around it before firing, could that keep the edges more uniform ? Thank you for sharing.

Hello a dam would stop a bulge, but more cold working would be required as you would not have the nice glossy edge. I like a bit of wonk, it’s hand made after all. Thank you for watching.

Hello I used 2.5mm electrical wire it’s a bit messy in the kiln but strong enough to do the job. The wire out the mouth was a different type of wire. Thank you for watching. Andy
