It may not necessarily be like this, Seren is perfectly fine usually in open spaces. But this is a hunt field so the herd instinct takes over & can send them a bit ( understatement) loopy xx

She had the time of her life! Haha Thank you, I did try after a while but she was having non of it. It’s the lack of grip on the reins so I couldn’t hold her at all. You can see where they had dried after we stopped & I managed to have a bit more control. But once they were wet again I was screened 🤣🤣. Thank you so much for the advice tho! She’s usually great out on a field. I’ve never experienced her this bad lol. I tried 🤭 but my reins were wet & I couldn’t get any grip haha. I thought a Pelham would be good but actually I think id suffer the same problem of her putting her head down xx

@@Whizzywelsh_Eventing last one he went lame he was that much of a head case ( took a good stride and a half flyer to the big battle field bales and over stretched badly because he was blatantly ignoring me, luckily it was the last field ) 🤦‍♀️ I left the last few of the season for his and my safety as he was just completely not under me nor willingly to listen in the slightest🤣 he was really bold and jumping incredibly but due to his age ( he’s 23 but acts 5) I can’t risk him hurting himself 😕 you’re extremely local to me ( I’m 15 from Shrewsbury) and found your account after visiting the isle for the first time 6 months ago and i was shocked to see how similar your mare was to him when he’s on fun rides 🤣

She was having the time of her life & I was enjoying it up until the point I had 0 brakes & my reins kept slipping 😂. I can assure you I was not sawing her in the mouth because I didn’t have enough grip on the reins to do that. She is an incredible little pony, but she is also ridiculously sharp ⚡️! I suggest you take a look at some of my other videos & you’ll see that she actually isn’t as honest as you think. I’ve been on an incredibly challenging journey with her & I took her hunting to make her bolder which it definitely had that desired effect haha xx
