I'm a new subscriber and have been browsing through all your videos, and I wanted to let you both know how inspiring this video and the preceding one has been for me. I'm a college senior and have never been in a relationship before, and I have struggled for a long time seeing people my age in relationships and wondering when it will happen for me. I keep thinking about when a fateful encounter will happen for me one day, but it's possible that it already has, and I just can't connect the dots yet. Even though you both felt Halloween was a very important point in the development of your relationship, you couldn't have known that evening, or even in the few weeks that followed, what would happen later on. You guys were friends first and had known each other for an entire academic year before you became official, and what I love about your guys' story is that everything played out over a very long period of time. I grapple so much with conjuring up future scenarios based on one conversation or event that happens, and I'm trying to recognize that I can't control the future. My main takeaway from your guys' story is that really anything can happen, and just because the circumstances aren't quite right in one moment in time doesn't mean that things can't change. Also, it is really inspiring to see a black and Asian couple. I'm Taiwanese, and while I would prefer to date someone who is also Asian, I really love seeing that a relationship can be possible with someone from a very different cultural and ethnic background. Congratulations to both of you on your engagement last summer! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the wedding this year :)

I was just about to move when my bf and i got together so we went out for 5 days , then he was like bye that was nice when i moved and i was upset.
