Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. he played much better in the second half but he still needs to work on his finishing. No point in beating your defender if your just gonna sky the ball over. At the end of the day the final third is what matters the most.

Sak’s finishing is horrible , but fantastic dribbler. And why is Toby playing few minutes when he can both dribble and score. Bad management for me but the ref was shocking

Thought we played really well. Seems like for the umpteenth time striz and the ref have let us down. Yes the first goal was deflected, but it’s only half a yard from him. No excuse not to save that. The “world class” save off the corner 2nd half was half a yard from him too. Is a regular save for a Sunday league under 10s keeper.

I know there's a lot to say about the ref.. but we definitely should have won that match on skill alone. There are too many chances that we waste with over the bar, wild shots. Chatham showed how physical the teams are towards the top of the table, and that's something we'll have to adapt to. I thought the defense today was miles better than in previous games, and Striz was very very good.

This ref just didn't want to give a red thats for sure, absoultely appaling officiating, still we dug our own grave here, just chance after chance gone begging, and that has been our whole season unfortunately. The ref wasnt great, but unfortunately, we did what we always do, dominate the middle of the pitch and have so many chances that we don't get end product from. The game should've been wrapped before half time. Unlucky lads.
