Haha to be fair: well we bought tickets many months ago when we were planning to do a longer trip but turns out we are in Florida a lot last month and next month so those plans changed. We were able to find cheap flights and a hotel under $100, so we made it work but it wasn’t optimal haha

That was fun seeing you guys experience MNSSHP for the first time! I'm a veteran of it- I was a WDW CM for 8 years, and I went to it at least once a year. It was my favorite! Some days when I didn't have party tickets, I'd just hang out by the entrance gates and people watch for all the amazing costumes. I live in Silicon Valley now and have been to the pre-Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party over at Disneyland once, but next month, I'm finally going to Oogie Boogie for the first time during the D23 member night! I'm so excited- I've watched your videos on it from previous years, and it looks amazing. I'm also taking my sister who has never been to ANY Disney Park Halloween party, so that should be extra fun.

Love the new intro!! What party is easier and less stressful, MNSSHP or Oogie Boogie? We’ve done MNSSHP before and we are so excited to be going to our first Oogie Boogie in October! I remember feeling stressed at MNSSHP because of all of the things to do, see and eat. Not to mention the mile long lines for characters!! Looking forward to your videos on Oogie Boogie!!!

Honestly both are stressful in their own way because there are a ton of things to do and such limited time. For us I think not so scary was more stressful but that might be because we aren’t used to it or aren’t as familiar with Walt Disney world.

The positive energy and joy from the tight knit community of youtubers who cover amusement park events just makes me smile. I agree with Peter. Disneyland is just better. Better organized. Um, cleaner. Having said that, it's funny. My first visit to Disneyworld was during the 1st wave of the Pandemic. As an Emergency RN, I survived it, without getting sick, one of the first front line workers vaccinated, and had to use up my vacation time or lose it. Disneyworld was pretty much the only thing open at the time that could help take my mind off work. Since then it's a weird relationship. Still love California. To me, Disneyworld to someone who lives in New York much how Vegas is to someone who lives in California. It's convenient fun. I'm not there for a long time but a good time. The special snacks and drinks look so much better this year. Sorry about the weather but at least the parade didn't disappoint. I can't wait to ride Pirates with the special addition of live cast members. Pirates and Haunted Mansion are my two favorite rides because I love the story-telling. Good to see Kitra and Pete in good spirits! One day I'll run into the celebrity Ordinary Adventures duo.

I remember seeing videos of Disney world right when they reopened during the pandemic and it was empty. Would have been such an interesting time to visit the park.

@@OrdinaryAdventures It was surreal. Think I went on 6 rides within an hour. When last year’s respective Halloween parties were going on both Disney & Universal I made it every event in one night. Don’t think that’s happening this year. 😆

That Captain Jack is THE BEST Captain Jack I've every seen. Really great match. Great video and even though the night had some bumps, seems like you had a great time. Am a bit disappointed though that there was no cameo of the "Fanny Fan."

It’s crazy how different OOB is compared to this!! Would love to experience this one day, we had only ever seen bad reviews on it but this video kind of turned our opinion around on it! There decor is definitely toned down but that amazing firework show makes up for it! The Merch is fire!!!!! So fun!!!!!

It’s definitely not as good as OBB but yeah that firework show was awesome. I think it’s worth checking out when you’re in town for HHN, especially if it’s not supposed to rain that night.

I'm not the biggest fan of parades (probably PTSD from marching in them in High School with a huge base drum on my back) But this parade is the best one I've seen! This whole video is really getting me in the Halloween spirit!

I love Mickeys-Not-So-Scary! I think the rain and the shortening of the shows really put a damper on the event. I’ve been to Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash last year and I felt that it wasn’t nearly as much fun as Mickeys Not So Scary. The shows and the parade definitely make a big different at wdw compared to DL, there wasn’t much to do at oogie boogie and the parade was a let down. But maybe it was just an off night 😥 Still enjoyed both events overall, and look forward to seeing more content!

Hmmm we feel totally opposite 😂 the best parts of mickeys was the fireworks and stage show but we think Oogie wins pretty much everything else

I ran laps with several grown-ups in those candy stations. Ended up with a full bag. It was amazing. Hadn't trick or treated since I was 14 and I'm 42 now.

@@OrdinaryAdventures I was working as a preschool teacher last year and brought almost all of it to my kids (I swiped a few chocolates as part of the candy tax).
