Our first time going to Malaysia Prime Minister Hari Raya Open House for Eid! 🇲🇾

2 жыл бұрынWe were invited by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob for his Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house. This is actually a tradition that happens every year in Malaysia. The PM would invite the public for what we heard is the largest food buffet in the world. This year, the open house was extended for two extra hours due to many people attending! (around 100,000 people!!!)
This was also the first Hari Raya open house held at the PM's house since 2019 due to covid.
So, people were delighted.
There were many food to choose from such as rendang, lemang, satay, kambing bakar, laksa, and many more.

No wonder you guys are so famous and get interviewed by a few news channels like TV3, The Star, Malaysia Gazette etc ..as we can see Steve is the only Mat Saleh who is wearing complete outfits for hari raya..striking yellow like DiGi, hehe..Ivana also looks great 😀👍 PM's open house is for everyone. Just eat everything you like for free. A lot of foods were made with the good quality by each caterer.

Another one is you are going to have a freestyle selfie with him....😂🤣😂🤣 Too bad that this mission isn't accomplished. Great and wonderful of you both to give such excellent praises to this open house reception, our country and her people. PM open house is an annual event every raya pre covid. so after 2 years of lockdown, ppl are excited to experience it again. hence maybe now there were double numbers of the guests before covid

One thing that makes us so so super proud as Malaysian is that we are fully disciplined and well organised everway we go e.g. in any celebation! No rushing, no running, we try to treat our guests as best as we could, with smile and hospitality especially people from other countries! We give 'em so many kinds of Malaysian food to choose! Another thing that makes us so proud too is most of us can speak English even not as good as the British! Amoung all, one thing the best most is of course 'free makan lah!'

@@zultana2078 buffets in general, big buffets even worse :-( USA, France, India, Maldives, China, Costa Rica ... doesn't matter. I do not like them and normally choose not to eat :-) We are all different and I know most people like them ... just not me. I love Malaysian food, just not as buffets ;-)
