Freddie is considered the greatest male vocalist of all time, he had one of the most powerful and diverse voices known to man.

Freddie's voice here is so clear like a crystal, touched my heart and it's my most favorite song. They're one of the BEST band ever.

I have tears rolling down my cheeks, because freddie wrote this for his ex girlfriend whom he always loved. She was special to him, even though he realised he was gay, Mary was the love of his life. He was never closer to anyone else. She and freddie stayed friends until he died. 😢 Miss you Freddie. ❤❤❤

For those who have doubts the voice of Freddie Mercury was studied by scientists and they determined that the era and is the only one that can move its vocal cords at once and was able to sing high and low melodies. In short, Freddie's voice is second to none.

He wrote this for the love of his life….Mary Austin. She still lives in his mansion in London and she was by his side til he died even though they weren’t together. 50% of his estate went to Mary. “You would’ve been my wife”

Such a special talent. Left us way to early..I wish he was still with us .. Freddie Mercury number one and Steve Perry number two. Just my personal opinion.. the two best male rock vocalists of all time

Doesn’t Freddie’s voice just melt your heart away? Freddie wrote this about the love of his life Mary Austin. Once engaged to be married for several years but broke up due to Freddie’s sexuality. They remained life long friends until Freddie passed away in 1991. He loved & trusted her explicitly … Mary was truly Freddie’s best friend!! He left her nearly everything in his estate including future Queen royalties & Garden Lodge where Freddie used to live! Mary still lives in Garden Lodge even after raising a family there! And, Mary said the home is exactly how Freddie left it including his art collection! If you think about it LOVE OF MY LIFE could be written from Mary’s perspective! 💞🌸💞🌸💞🌸

They perform Love Of My Life before a massive audience in Rio, the audience took over and sang it back. After that, Freddie gave the audiences a chance to sing this also. Yes, it’s on YT.

I was fortunate enough to witness Queen at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1982. Without doubt the greatest band that has ever existed. And Freddie's voice; what can I say the best ever. I have followed Queen since I was a little boy, I grew up listening to their incredible music. Because of this their songs mean a lot to me and Love of My Life is very special. I can't listen to it (especially the live version) without being reduced to tears. Freddie puts so much emotion into this song because of Mary. He means every word! His passing is a true loss to this world.
