Stray kids are in a league of their own. They write/produce their own stuff. Including the beats. They have a huge discography which covers many genres. If you like anime they did a collaboration with LiSA who is a famous Japanese singer who songs many anime openings/songs. Collab with LiSA is Social Path.

K-pop is actually an industry and not really a genre, as such. You will notice Stray Kids switched it up quite a bit within the song and they do it in other songs too. Some K-pop is more poppy, some rnb, some more rap and most a mix of everything. Some groups are known for being “louder” like Stray Kids and ATEEZ, but even these groups have beautiful ballads where they all sing, including the regular rappers. Enjoy your journey into K-pop.

If you both ever get into Stray kids, and would like to explore them not just by music, I recommend watching their survival show (it’s very sad, many of their stays, wait a while to watch it. I haven’t seen it yet, however I have seen a clip on KZfaq which made me cry, so this is just a warning, lol 😭.), funny moments, variety shows, SKZ code, and more ! Maybe even a guide to get to know the members more. Stray Kids is more rap heavy in there music, EXO is a group that gravitates more to RnB, NCT 127 has a more experimental sound while other groups are more pop oriented and all of them mix genres. It's a fun rabbit hole to go down. For more Stray Kids, I recommend God's Menu, Thunderous, and Easy.

For stray kids you like rap I highly recommend checking out muddy water, 3racha, venom, and maze of memories and if you want to check out something a little more vocal/feelings-y I'd recommend Cover me, Lonely st, DLMLU, Voices, and silent cry. For dance I'd check out the dance practices for domino, mega verse, lalalala, and easy. 3racha is stray kids production team and was a predebut rap trio the songs are obviously lower production quality but if you'd like to check them out I'd look into Runners high, P.A.C.E, Matryoshyka, and 42. Ateez has a similar vibe though not quite the same so I'd recommend Bouncy, crazy form, guerilla, and halazia.

This SKZ comeback is killing me and I'm here for it, as one of my wreckers aka Han ( I tried to keep him on a tight leash but he broke from it lol) has joined my other two biases Felix and Hyunjin (now i have 3) and my wreckers wrecker Lee Know has joined Changbin as a wrecker. I am in love with the pirate\purge theme throughout the MV as its more like they are trying to show people no matter what they wont change as they give people like me hope that we can just be who we are. the lyrics are also amazing as ever as I had ever since the teaser, lalalala la lalalala stuck in my head when I wake up and wen I go to sleep. The beat is also super catchy as its a beat that's the type to get you hyped up and ready for anything. On a side note i love Han wearing the clown mask as I could tell it was him just by looking at his eyes. also I just wanted to say i love the choreo and learning it myself and i also love the rapping and vocals in the song aswell. also i love the rock sound as if it wasnt for kpop i wouldnt be into rock type music at all and talking bout the music i love the drums and the guitars also i love how chaotic but natural it all looks.

I got hooked on Stray Kids at the beginning of last year. They never miss. Their discography is huge. Any mood you’re in, they got songs for it. Fast, slow, it doesn’t matter. Banger after banger

Singing, dancing crazy visuals and beats top notch music videos and rapping most of the time is like the kpop formula lol.. its all these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package (thanks to Genius Min Suga for those words 🙏🏻)

To fully honest with you, at first i didnt really fw kpop at all and told my friends who listened to that it was trash but then out of no where, i went down a rabbit hole it it there so many grouos with so much talent and amazing music with amazing vocals, raps, a dances , and music videos. Honestly kpop is whole other type of genre and advanced. If u need more group/song ideas lmk ans i can give you some very good ones

try ALL IN. or 3RACHA if you like strong stuff. also i recommend the DOMINO dance practice video. the sync is amazing. some backstory: LALALALA: the mv focuses on four primary emotions; joy, anger, sorrow and ROCK. throughout, you see them kinda "defeat" or "take over" every emotion. hence (if payed attention to) why you see the characters disintegrate except for one. ROCK. the kids at the beginning are meant to be them (i think) playing in front of a crowd. the giant aliens are stage fright. going back to the "take over" thing, those are their inner selves conquering that stage fright. like ive said, you are left with ROCK, basically them being confident to perform. pretty cool mv. also if you care, the pirate ship is anger, white theme is sorrow, fiery scenes are ROCK, and the clown scenes are joy. (minor detail, when you see the bus blow up and one in the first joy scene, they are referencing their 'District 9' mv, their debut song. it features a school bus headed to district 9. they love referencing like that || example: CHEESE = God's Menu) Maniac: yall were confused at the end. the song speaks about letting your true, inner maniac out instead of pretending. at one point, they say its like cosplaying. we see the drill and bird throughout the mv. at the end, they were just looking at the bird in its cage. lee know (ending guy with the drill) was just drilling paintings on the wall. im pretty sure all we saw was seungmin (waitress with the rest of the guys) and lee know's minds. i have reason to believe so, as we see hyunjin (red hair) kinda go like "you good, bro?" while checking the bird out. anyways, these mvs were great choices for a first. but i must warn you, once you fall in the rabbit hole of fanship, theres no way out. (another minor detail, their fandom name is STAY because we stay by their sides and Stray minus the letter R equals STAY, as seungmin explained during an interview. also, they all speak very good english, though lee know doesnt and is learning Japanese.)

I highly recommend you check out District 9 to hear the insane rap flow, S-class for some old school hip hop or anything by their producing group 3racha.

So I wanted to say Hi and thank you for checking them out....they are a self produced boy group from South Korea..These guys are insanely talented and there is so much to know about them...please check out more of their music...I want to go on the Stray Kids journey with you so I subbed. 😊 They don't miss...their videos are usually pretty crazy they are known as the transition Kings when it comes to their videos...their live performances will leave you pretty much stunned and they are usually hype but they do have a soft side also....a few suggestions would be MEGAVERSE, TOPLINE, VENOM, GOD MENU (one of their most famous songs) and S-CLASS....but that's just to start....there is so much music because these guys don't rest.!!!
