If you think about it, before MTV, we did not have music videos, at least not an entire channel for them. You could watch it all day. Madonna was a genius at capitalizing on the MTV platform. You got a short film for each song, rather than just footage of a band playing. I kept asking for them to do this song in particular, but there are so many of hers that you might want to toss in the mix now and then, because there is always a great story there too.
