Injera is like one of the most pivotal parts of Ethiopian food. Almost all of the food is eaten with it. It is supposed to be a little but sour, also that injera is more American. Traditional Ethiopian injera is a lot more thin and a little more sour as well. The veggie platter is called Beyenat. It mostly consists of lentils called misir, chickpeas stew called shiro, collard greens which is gomen, beets, and so on. Enjoyed watching you guys try the food!

Ethiopian food is one of our favorites. I would say there’s something to be said about Injera, it is naturally gluten free for those with health concerns and the fermentation itself has health benefits like Kimchee, sauerkraut etc. it is meant to not have too much flavor to balance out the spices in the entree. And the spongy texture is so satisfying. Def something rice can’t offer.

Loved the video! When you eat Injera you’re actually supposed to use your right hand and scoop up the sauce ( Wet) with a piece of the Injera! So happy you guys tried Ethiopian food!

You guys can't eat the sauce without injera. It is the main part of the dish. There are dishes served withouy it like 'Kitifo' . Try the local drinks & coffee too. Thank you for puting spotlight on Ethiopian food. Much love from Ethiopia

I knew you were my Favorite couple, youre definitely eating good I’m glad you like our food, but the best is in the DMV AREA or second place Atlanta. The best way to deal with the sourness of the injera is to put as much of each item from each plate on small piece of injera, vs having a big piece of injera with one small piece of meat

The sause is already on injera. you have to eat from. you do not need to have another plate because it is on Injera already. you don't scoup the sause from injera to injera because it on injera already. 💚💛❤
