As a Dutchie (and ex-Efteling employee) now living in the UK, you can get stroopwafels in UK supermarkets. Top tip: place it on top of your tea for a bit (like a lid) so it gets warm, the stroop will soften and make for a much nicer treat. Enjoy! So happy to watch your Efteling review, it's always nice to see others enjoy what truly is A World of Wonders, as the radio ad says. (It always makes me slightly homesick when I catch it)

This is my bucket list park and has been for years. Kept getting trips cancelled last year 😢 Thanks for sharing this with us! So glad to see your review

Great vlog! Love that you are looking at accessibility too. Efteling is a big park. For people that are not able to walk long distances, there is also the possibility to rent an electrical wheelchair for something like €25 a day. It is very comfortable and easy to use (needed to rent it once, when I hurt my foot and couldn’t walk much). Tip: stay at Bosrijk or Loonsche Land. These are much more immersive than the Efteling hotel. Or wait until the Grand Hotel is finished. Also tip: for extra free souvenirs, always take the kids meal. They offer best value for money, it is okay to get them as adults and you always get a lovely souvenir. Especially true at the poffertje, the restaurant that offers the mini dutch pancakes and you get a free plate to take home in the kids portion. We eat from those plate every day!

hope the Efteling park always keeps detail in mind..... this is what makes the magic.....detail...... like example no moulded-plastic plant -pots always ceramic...... fibreglass for the prop houses...yes...thats good as it looks like the real deal when done right.... but never moulded -plastic........love the brother's Grimm fairytale theme... never change that..... and also the nature ... the Efteling pak is so lovely...its a place everyone in the world should visit before they die...... im getting my passport sorted out.

To anyone who walks past the Danse Macrabre building sight, when you look through those holes on the right, you should wait a lil bit. I could hear the music start when you walked away, which is when you see a little something through there. Of course that isn't specified anywhere, so just a little heads up ❤

I've been going to the Efteling for as long as I can remember, at least once every year. I still see new things there every time we go, whether they just recently built it or it's hidden in some secret corner, the attention to detail at the park is amazing

just an fyi there are a couple of seats on the baron (first row though) that have bigger seats and extra security belts for plus sized people.

I love you enjoyed my homepark. I think only Joris and Draak would be impossible and i'm not sure about vogelrok and Python but i think you could get on. Baron has big boy seats so that should be ok. Oh and the mad house will probable be a bit painfull (at least it was for me before i lost some weight) but if you can do Hex you can do this one.

I face similar issues as you guys im not on the wider side but more on the tall and heavy side. I am passed the 2m and 140kg. Mostly clicking belly bars and above all shoulder straps dont agree with me. Most people dont know there is not just a weight limit and a minimum hight but also a max hight and shoulder width.

Friendly? Yes! Suitable? Maybe not so much. It is a vast park that requiers alot of walking. But I guess covering terrain is tough for any larger person. Looks like you had a fun day eventhough both your weight did put restrictions on your experience for sure.

The guy on top of the stroopwafel place has the power to obliterate everything he stares at. That's why he has to wear a blindfold at all times! 😊

Tall is usually not a problem in the netherlands. They take that in account because the dutch people are tall to. Cant say much about shoulder width

Based on what I've seen, I think "Python" would have been absolutely fine, and "Max & Moritz" and "Joris & de Draak" (wooden coaster) would not have been possble. Those two rides have restraints that are more limited.

24:00 the new ride they are building used to be "Spookslot" but was out of date and one of the first things that got build. They are building a new version of it that will be different but the same theme. "Dance Macabre" is a setup for ghost like dark ride. But i am suprised you guys did not do "Villa Volta". Plus the Aquanura show, is to my feeling not as great in the dark. Much much better, you guys should look it up!

in my head python has the same restraints as the baron and vogelrok does too, the baron is the only one who has the "bigger people" seats though

the beer you were drinking @34:20 is Hertog Jan (Duke Jan), in my honest opinion, the best beer of The Netherlands.

Not for every attraction. I'm a plus size girl * you are bigger then me* and i can't fit on joris en de draak because i can't get the seatbelt to fit. Bar in villa volta is really tight. Max and Moritz difficult to fit. And don't even try to do the monorail in land van laaf. There are attractions that plussize people can do but also those that are hard. Still nice to see you had a fun day.

In the netherlands/europe we dont have as many obese/ plus size people as in the us

Don't take this the wrong way, but I seriously wonder why you are complaining about not fitting in a ride because of your size, and then you show us what you eat and it's only junkfood followed by more junkfood followed by soda's and beer. You literally pick the most unhealthy food and drinks that will add to your body size / weight. You can't blame any park for not being "plus size friendly" if you are the only one to blame for your body size. This is not me bodyshaming or fatshaming. I'm just confused why you make those choices while you're clearly worried if you will fit in the rides. I mean you can eat and drink what you want, but just know what the consequences are without blaming anyone else for not fitting in a ride. Having said that, I do hope you enjoyed your time at the Efteling (I only watched half of the video, have no time for the rest, will watch that later). And I like the Labyrinth shirt.
