I was there that night working as per usual, the fans went crazy. I just stood there mouth wide open. The fans doing all over me. I knew that night was special and after working for almost 20 years it will remain with me forever!

Not a Wolves fan but I watched this game as I had known about Ruben Neves since around 2015 or 2016 when he was coming through at Porto so I used to watch his games often. Saw this goal live on TV and it is genuinely one of the greatest goals I’ve seen in my life.

I was in the Stan Cullis upper that night right in line with Neves. There was a sort of delayed reaction from those around me of “have we just seen that”. A couple more things about the game, the Derby fans applauding the goal and the game was directly after the win at Cardiff and Warnock’s outburst against Nuno, when he accused Nuno of having no class directly after telling him to F off three times. When the Wolves fans started singing about Warnock being a banker (or words to that effect), the Derby fans joined in…..😂😂

I remember being in the crowd at the first game of the season vs Everton the year after. Thinking to myself, okay hes got a Free Kick against a PL team, hes been doing it against Championship teams for a year, but now is the test against a "proper" team.
