What a lovely young couple . Being a stay at home parent is not for the faint hearted especially in this bazungu society. I have done it as a woman, and still find it harrd. So mugave munange hats off for you. You are doing us proud. Just do your thing, don't let society noise get to you. As long as it is working for you as a family. Mukyala thanks for working as a team. It's really needed in this country without extended family support.

I wonder whether Dr. Cissy usually finds herself analysing Edward and what he feels about that if it happens. I’m trying to imagine what it’s like living with a psychiatrist. And does it happen with the kids? Do you manage to switch it off?
@drcissyatwine11 ай бұрын
no i dont switch it off because that's how my mind works.. maybe i don't always say my psychoanalysis thoughts out loud😂 that would be annoying to live with.. besides he doesn''t agree with many of my things 😂😂 why do you ask..are you thinking of living with a psychiatrist or psychologist?
@psnk49011 ай бұрын
Haha. I’m just very curious about everything. The thought came ti mind because of how you listened to him as he spoke. It was very therapy like. Even the follow up questions you asked sounded like things a psychiatrist and therapist would ask. So I wondered what the home dynamics are like. I’d be mad about being psychoanalysed a lot. I think it would kind of feel like my partner has a mind super power and I can’t just deal with life at my own pace. Dunno if I am making sense. I also thought if I were the doc, I probably wouldn’t be able to turn it off. Anyway, just where my mind wandered to. 😊 Thanks for being so candid.
@drcissyatwine11 ай бұрын
you are definitely making sense and you have described exactly why our conversations aren't all like this.. it would be annoying.. on further reflection i realise that i don't neccessarily 'switch this off'' but i am not like this all the time because i am a regular person on her own healing journey..i hope that makes sense @@psnk490
@psnk49011 ай бұрын
I hear you. You are on your own journey, just with the additional knowledge from your profession. It doesn’t make you super human or better at dealing with life, I guess. I see it now. Maybe you might understand certain things better and more easily but still deal with them as most human beings would. Thank you so much Dr. Cissy.
