A review of our beloved Monkey, it began as my girlfriends starter bike but our household has not outgrown it as we continue to enjoy riding it every day.

I love my ‘21 Monkey and use it daily as my means of getting to and from work. It’s a great way to start the day. And as you said, can’t beat the rate of return on a gallon of gas right now.

I am 80 and bought a Monkey June of 2023. So far have installed the T-Rex center stand and windshield and the Man in the box $120 rear shocks and the mirror extenders too, then the Chimera intake which is kind of loud on acceleration but makes adjusting the intake valve much easier. This little wonder is just right for me now after ridding heavy cruisers for 64 years. This is my last purchase of a bike and will keep it to the end. Thanks for posting, good video.

Haven't rode a bike in over 30 years but I love Honda 125 mini bikes, so I hope to take the plunge later this year. Hardest decision is which bike, Grom, Dax and Monkey all awesome commuter bikes. Great video matey 👍

I would highly suggest it! If you are in the Philly area or ever plan to be you can rent ours. We have it listed on ridershare and twisted road. Just saying, take it for a spin.

You would not leave your Honda Monkey outside like that in London and a lot of places in the UK; it would be stolen in minutes.

It’s the scary part about having bikes in the urban environment. It’s a shame we have to worry about theft in a regular basis.

I’m well over a 100 mpg on my 2024. I put super gas in mine though. Great machines. 👍

It’s a good one! Mine got stolen last year, rip monkey:( but I used the insurance money to try another bike. I will always have fond memories of the lil monkey tho! Happy riding, stay safe out there

I have the quad lock phone mount on the handlebars and it pairs with a quad lock case for you phone. The case is sleek, I like the feel in my hand when it’s not on the bike. And it is very secure. I have not had any problems with the system. It’s a bit expensive for both pieces but I find that it’s worth the money.

Where did you buy the rack. Will it work for you as it is pretty small?

I bought the bike used and it came with it. I believe it’s a Honda genuine accessory. I’ve got to 12 packs strapped to that rack with a bungee net so I would say it’s useful👍👍

I can see you keep it outside your apartament without a cover - how does it handle in rust departament?

I actually do cover it but I had removed the cover before starting this video. No rust issues yet, I use the Dowco guardian cover for all of my bikes. The make a monkey sized version

This was the video that convinced me to run a mic inside of my helmet. I was pulling Audio straight from the GoPro on this ride. I literally was riding down the street projecting my voice so that the camera would pick it up lol

I’m not really into that kind of video creation. Philly has some rough areas but I’ll leave that to other KZfaqrs to cover. That being said it’s pretty weird up there lol
