3D puzzles were almost my exclusive build back in my younger years (mainly 1995 - 2001...) Probably had at least 30, but they took up so much space, especially the original big ben (1500pc) and star destroyer, so I had to give up many them. I still have a dozen in storage and hope one day to find a few more on sale when I can buy a place of my own. The imperial star destroyer, Opera house, and London tower bridge were my most challenging ones just due to the curves and shear size. Never had any out for long enough to get dusty, but it was always a concern of mine. Debated on making acrylic custom boxes if I do make room for them again.

Right? My siblings were both almost a decade older than me and we never had anything in common, never did much together. We were always in such different places in life that I mostly felt like an only child. I would have loved a sibling closer to my age with a relationship like this. I now have two girls very close in age and I hope they grow up to have a relationship like this!

I have also done the New York City Puzz3D!! I did it on a New Years Eve when I was in early highschool and it's easily my favourite puzzle of ALL TIME! I did take it apart, but kept all the walls together in the box, for easy reassembly. I've also done a bunch of the others shown here. Great collection!

I will say that some of the Star Wars ones are interesting from a perspective of just construction. I got the Millennium Falcon one, and there are so many tapers and both the top and bottom are sort of domes, and there isn't a flat bottom, so it beyond the licensed aspect, they're interesting to just build.

This brought back so many memories of all the 3d puzzles I did growing up. As much as I loved them the size makes it hard to keep around now. Even the boxes take up the space of 6-7 normal puzzles. My favorite was the grandfather clock as it also was a working clock.

We had well over 3 dozen Puzz 3d puzzles growing up. I saw the lamp, big ben, the empire state building, and Eiffel tower we had, but I remember Titanic, the monopoly board game R2-D2 and Millenium Falcon. I used to get the small ones for my birthday. I remember that the stickers always wanted to come off the foam. Lots of memories came back from doing all those puzzles, thank you!!!

Great video! Back in the 90s, I remember doing several of these with my girlfriend (now ex), including the Taj Mahal (I'm surprised Katie doesn't have this one) and I think Notre Dame. I still have 3 mini-puzzles (Arch De Triomphe, Big Ben, and a Dutch windmill), which I pulled out and reassembled during the pandemic and now sit on my bookshelf. I'm fortunate to have visited a lot of these places in real life, including Castle Neuschwanstein (the absolute coolest), the Taj Mahal, the Petronas Towers, Sistine Chapel, Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triomphe, Disney World, and NYC (including the Empire State Building skyscraper of course).

I remember my grandfather solving Puzz3d puzzles in their basement. I have some fond memories of teasing him about knowing where the next piece goes before he did. I actually recognize one or two of the puzz3ds in this video as ones that I recall him solving. Tbh, I think he is a big part of the reason I enjoy puzzling as much as I do. In the last couple of years (since he passed) I have started doing more 3d puzzles because it brings up those memories. I might start looking for one of the puzzles he had just for that reason. This was such a cool collection to see though! Thank you for sharing! (And for a trip down memory lane!!)

So fun seeing so many organized and displayed! We still have several from when I was a kid, including the "Small" Ben and Notre Dame shown here (although looking them up, I see there were two sizes of Notre Dame, and ours is the bigger one). I can't remember them all offhand, but I know Bavarian Mansion and the Taj Mahal (and R2-D2, lol) are among them. Possibly London Bridge? It's been so long... no where to keep them now, so they are stored away in their boxes. Haven't found it in me to get rid of them.

Awesome collection.). I like Big Ben and Little Ben. And it’s nursery rhyme appropriate that the big clock stands on the floor. Because: “My grandfather’s clock was to big for the shelf, so it stood ninety years on the floor.” The collection would be more fun with cut outs of you two sisters for more of the buildings.
