I can't wait!! I'm shooting a 300 spine, Easton Axis 5mm Match Grade w/ a 75 gr Easton insert, a 25 gr Iron Wills collar and 150 gr Iron Wills left single Bevel. 28.5" draw. Total weight is 610 gr. Bow is set at 63 lbs. The arrows are flying really straight (paper & knocked tuned )w/ my Broadheads. I didn'y have a grain # I was stuck on, it's just what they ended up being because they flew the best.

For inconsistencies with arrow flight with lighted nocks, may want to check nock fit. Lighted nocks are notorious for being too tight on factory servings.

I feel like arrow set up depends on the shooter and what a where they hunt. I don’t get many 20 yard shots so I shoot riptko 27” with 100 gr mechanical lighted nock with a 70lbs bow 29” draw. 425 gr total weight and 3 doe and a buck down last season. If i go hog I’ll def go heavier.

33.5" draw means life is expensive. Mathews bow because Bear doesn't make a bow for me. Easton axis 5mm because they're the only arrow longer than 32". 552 grains with 125 grain head and no extra insert because I already reached the weight I was wanting although it's only about 11% FOC.

After your last video I already ordered some single bevels and went with a different arrow set up. Should be somewhere between 450 and 470 grains. I'm hesitant to go over 500, lot of open country and 50+ yard shots out here.

It's definitely doable above 500! I'm shooting ~525 grains and am able to shoot out to 80 yards with no problem with a 28 inch draw and 68 lbs draw weight. I wouldn't go above 575 tho if you want to have pins that go beyond 60 yards

Arrow is a Deer Crossing Archery Huter Series, .300 spine, 4 fletch & 3 fletch, 100 gn ethics insert, i shoot & carry 3 different broadheads (because i can through the magic of broadhead tuning lol) 1st Tuffhead 200 gn w/bleeders, 2nd VPA single bevel, 3rd Woodsman Elite 3 blade 200 gn, total arrow weight between 584 & 586 gn's (we all know these heavy broadheads usually are couple grains heavier than the label state). According to the calculators I'm at smooth 22% FOC. God Bless to everyone of my hunting blood Brother's, may we have blessed, safe & successful season gentlemen 🙏

Just got a new compound, gout victory rip tkos in 300sp, 75lb draw weight and 31” draw. I built my arrows at around 462gr. I have all 12 arrows within a .7gr range from high to low. I epoxied nails into the standard nocks to match the nocturnal nocks I’m using. I plan to shoot 100gr g5 montecs. I measured my FOC but can’t quite remember, I believe it’s 10-11%. 1) what’s your recommended foc? 2) how do I know where the switch point is in spine if based on arrow weight and foc? So if I want to get into the 550gr+ weight, at what point is my 300 spine too weak? 3) I have sparked an interest in the single bevel heads. Watching the potato test, I believe ranch fairy used inserts with bearings. If I wanted to shoot single bevels, would I need inserts with bearings? My bow clocks counterclockwise so I fletched with a counterclockwise helical. so I’d have to loctite any tips/broadheads. Is that sufficient or do I need to get different inserts. 4) I’ve never killed a deer in archery. Is a 462gr arrow with montecs a decent arrow? I just don’t want to wound/lose a deer because my arrow is too light

My arrows are significantly heavier than my hunting partners, primarily due to the heavy insert. Good luck this fall.

If you can convince the algo that what you're doing is for educational purposes, the policies on graphic content are significantly relaxed. I've found Ranch Fairy's content (especially his segments with the Rocket Man) extraordinarily educational so I wonder if necropsy and arrow flight through hog skulls would qualify.

Jist go with good middle of the road, good spine and straightness and tuned bow. You can still have good FOC without shooting a crazy heavy arrow thats not necessary, and you’ll have much flatter trajectory and better pin gapping and tape. Animals wont have nearly as much time to move, and if you get a range wrong or they take couple steps the arrow will be much more forgiving than this heavy Ranch Fairy BS. He admitted whole reason he did that was to make up for poorly tuned bows

Why do heavy! Seems a bit redundant tbh. Love the content but definitely think ranch fairy is a bit of a ummmm fairy!

They do so heavy because they take all their advice from ranch fairy who knows nothing about tuning a bow and trying to make people believe that 600+ grain arrows is the only way to go..if you’re only worried about shooting whitetails out to 20 yards and trying to shoot it in the shoulder this is the way to go.. no matter how many actual experienced hunters show day in and day out that the cons out weigh the pros of their setups, the cult following that guy has is unreal

I shot a 174" monster whitetail with a light fast arrow and a mech. Head. My arrow bounced off the deer shoulder and landed 7 feet from the base of my tree. Can you explain that one? 🤔@@justinrodabaugh3746

I wish you guys would actually spend a day with someone who knows how to tune a bow and knows how to actually achieve perfect arrow flight from tuning not just throwing so much weight on the front of the arrow that it covers up. You wouldn’t have to shoot full length heaviest spines arrows possible to achieve those results
