I am so glad you had such a wonderful trip up here in Wyoming….I’m also glad you didn’t take the dirt trails….yes, they are safe BUT many years ago my husband and I were on one of those trails along the gorgeous Firehole River….it was wet from rain and I needed a break from the the mud so I looked over and saw what I thought was a rock and jumped over to it and down I went (quicksand, very quick quicksand) ….fortunately my husband was right next to me and grabbed my arm and yanked me out…I was chest deep and there was no bottom to this hole😳😳😳. Sooooo, if you come back again, please be aware that unstable ground is a real thing up here…keep your kids very close at all times….grizzlies and wolves are also a real thing up here as well. Did you drive over Togwotee Pass (pronounced toe-guh-tee)? There are lots of grizzlies up there as well as near Moran Junction (southern end of Yellowstone). We have seen many up there. Anyway, thanks for coming to our great State And glad it was such a wonderful trip….I could hear that the elevation was a challenge for you at times!!! Be well!❤️

Loved being able to go with you. I am 71 years old and I made my first trip out west in 2021. It was so different from living in North Carolina in the mountains. Some of the views are breathtaking out there.

I worked at Yellowstone for the summer when I was 17. It was a wonderful experience although at the time, I was a little homesick. We had a wonderful cross country experience. I worked at Hamilton Store across from Old Faithful. And that old big hotel you were talking about is the Old Faithful Inn and on my break I would go sit in the rocking chairs inside. It is truly a beautiful inn. The traffic in the park is at a standstill all summer. This video makes me want to go back. Thank you for this video.

You've never been to the Pacific Northwest, especially Western Washington, have you? Did you know we can see Mt. Rainier from the freeway on every sunny day? I now live here in Olympia and I see Mt. Rainier majestically over the freeway on any day that it's sunny here. I absolutely love it. Not only that but it's lush and green here and the flowers are beautiful. It's a very beautiful state.

I love Yellowstone . And so cool ; I believe it’s near old faithful that has a place you can get yummy ice cream

Our family was just at that same adventure park in glenwood springs last week! My son spent hours in the cave simulator, feeding the one eyed squirrel in the eating area and laser tag were our favorites! Glad you got to experience that hidden gem!

I love seeing all of you having such a Heavenly wonderful vacation! I sure miss those days of traveling with our kids when they were young and then reaching the point of needing a vacation from our vacation. Such blessed days. I wish we could do it now with our kids and grandkids but, alas, my health is so poor that I have been housebound and recliner/bedbound for the past 9 years. Any activity I do make me sicker.
