In this informative session, we're going to delve into the 'what' and 'what's next' in PFAS methods with Bharat Chandramouli, Environmental Laboratory Product Manager, and Julia Roth, Air Services, Portfolio Lead. Bharat will explore our recent success with the announcement on September 2, 2021, by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA ) of the availability of the EPA 1633 Draft PFAS method for the measurement of PFAS in wastewater, surface water, groundwater, soils, and fish tissue. We developed the method based on internal method number MLA-110 and performed the single laboratory validation. Finally, Julia and Bharat will also be looking at what else is being worked on and why PFAS contamination poses such a threat to our environment.
