@@vincentlattuca3763 as far as I'm aware it's been confirmed by a few sources the "fire falling from the sky" will be of divine origin, that is to say nature and or space which all belong to God. Secondly I don't believe God will allow full nuke destruction of the world for a few simple reasons. 1 wiping the world out with nukes would in fact create a situation where the bibles words and specifically the end times and scriptures become undone...this would not be allowed by God nor would antichrist come or any of that which all has to take place. 2 There would be nobody left nor would life really continue on so again the problem of the above. That's not to say some nukes could not be used, just this whole nukes wiping out the world just won't work with scripture really when you think about it deeply. WW3 may indeed come but even there nukes is a lose lose situation for all around because naturally any other countries will use them right back and you can be certain all countries that are on some level "high up there" will have some for those just in case situations and whoever does launch them first is going to get it right back no matter what country it is contrary to lunatics and conspiracy nutjobs who have fallen for soviet propaganda. It's important to focus on the message of hope as well from Fatima especially during these times when so many are out there to profit and spread fear and misinformation. In the end her immaculate heart will triumph, we have that promise that it will be late ( it was never too late that is false ) but in the end God wins as always.

I think in this message it's that if humanity continues in it's stubborn downward spiral of sin and turning away from God's laws and commandments that well the chastisement will come and wipe out a large portion of humanity and a high number of those souls who chose to willingly accept sin will indeed go to Hell for those choices. Which really just goes right back to the loss of so many souls and the fact the first vision the children had were souls of human beings falling into hell like snowflakes. It's a hard truth for many to accept but if it was not important and so serious than it would not have been a message sent to the world. If human beings chose to reject God and his warnings and laws, the wages of sin are indeed death. That said we must hope, pray, and do penance so that as many souls will turn from sin and return to God and his teachings. We understand that the chastisement CAN BE mitigated, but we also know it can't really be averted at this point. Looking at the state of the world, the outright contempt and mockery of God and his laws, the wicked choices to promote the most vile and degenerate sins in society as acceptable then it's totally within the right of our almighty creator to end that sin which offends him so much. We get what we deserve through our actions and free will.

We can all see that sin has increased and what's worse it's accepted and celebrated in our streets.

I think you can interpret it exactly as stated. And if the world does meet with such a chastisement, then perhaps billions will die in a state of mortal sin. This is why Our Lady at Fatima implored us to pray for sinners.
