This week we sail from Pag Croatia to Umag, stopping at Pula and Mali Lošinj along the way. We get super close to running out of fuel, Jase's fuel run doesn't go so well and we finally check out of Croatia, en-route to Slovenia!

Truffle oil is fantastic . Add some good olive oil to your truffle oil when you have used more than half of the bottle ! Are your outboard troubles fuel related ... it might be that you have ethanol , bio fuel , in the fuel you buy . Get some fuel stabilizer to add to the tank , or drain the fuel out the line often , to reduce the chances of water gumming up the carb or injectors , Redx is good for keeping the top end and rings clear of soot too . Yummm we haven’t had much of the truffle oil yet but it’s already mixed with olive oil i think, should we add more olive oil when it’s half empty still? Thanks for the tips on the outboard 😄

@LeadingtheEscapade I had a terrible motorcycle 🏍 accident January 28th, 2023. I spent 4 weeks in a hospital. Then, another 4 weeks in a Physical Rehab Facility. I spent time watching videos on KZfaq and found yours. I do watch: SV Delos SV Sailing Parlay SV LaVagabonde SV One Life SV Calico Skies SV Sailing Sundays SV Nexus And, by chance, discovered you guys. I started Sailing at 5 yrs old in Sabots. By 12 I got the 1st Hobie Cat in Malibu, CA. It changed beach Sailing in Southern California. Please keep your Sailing channel going.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear!! But glad to know you’re ok. Must’ve been a bad accident! Changes your outlook on life I’m sure when having a scare like that! My (Janaye) mum used to ride motorbikes until she couldn’t balance so well anymore. Loved it though!! Wow that’s awesome! I hope we can keep going 😆🤞🏼 cheers

J&J you guys are very quickly becoming out new Fav Aussie 🇦🇺⛵ Sailing channel, so down to earth, RidgiDig 🤙, Funny and Chilled AF 😆. Alot of the our channels we follow have lost a little bit of direction and become more like travel guides 🙄 rather than like you guys are still doing sharing a story and your expirences of getting to destination and then a little bit about the place ♥. Your food looks delicious! Escapade has an onboard chef. As for Jason, once a fisherman makes a catch, they always lose track of how many and the size. No worries captain. Really getting into your channel! Doc

Hahahah I know it’s actually crazy what you can still cook up in a boat kitchen. Boat looks like a bomb’s hit it by the time I’m done but we have a dish of lasagna so that’s all that matters Hhahah 🫣❤️

I'll have to visit Croatia. It is really lovely. About not knowing how much fuel is left, I've found logging the engine hours and fill amounts quickly gives you a very accurate rate of use at a fixed rpm. This made me think about that recalcitrant outboard, have you changed the fuel cap? Sometimes the vent in the cap fails and then it keeps starving the engine out. Easy to tell, just run with the cap loose for a bit and see if that solves things.

The water there is just unreal looking, everywhere you guys have gone to there in Croatia except for like maybe 1-2 the water is just unbelievably beautiful!! And I can guess can what your picking up lol!! I didn’t realize that you two are picking it up in Slovenia and not Croatia? Whatever it is that you guys are picking up 😉, you totally deserve it!! And if anyone is new that is reading through these comments you must subscribe RIGHT NOW and hit the bell because you won’t want to miss another episode from these two beautiful people!!!! One of the best channels on KZfaq in my eyes!!! Just out of curiosity what was the temperature there as you guys were checking out of Croatia cause it looked like you guys were wearing sweaters and coats more and more often? And I love the way the old town looks, and the coliseum and all that!! The architecture over there in those countries is sooooooo beautiful!! Another fantastic job you two on another AMAZING video and the one I’ve been looking forward to comes next week!! Shit yeah lol! 😂

Oh p.s it got cold quickly in Croatia!! Some days we’re already down to like 15-20 degree’s celcius and it was in September

Is it just me or does everywhere look like a postcard. I don’t want to jinx you or anything nevertheless you’ve been living in a bubble. As you know the whether hasn’t been the best here in Australia and their seemingly copping it everywhere else in the world while on passage. The climate looks really comfortable as well, while we’ve been having some real stinkers of late. It’s just so civilised to watch your romantic picnics on the beach together!❤ Great to hear Jason doing some voice work as he does have good timber and accent😂 Fingers crossed that it stays with you and it’s honestly just wonderful to watch every passage and endeavours 😂 Well Done Jason and Janaye. ❤Happy Sailing

Hahaha it definitely can sometimes 😄 but we seriously had the most summer storms we’ve had over there. But the climate was very mild, definitely not as hot as we expected. Oh glad to hear you liked Jason’s voice over 😄 he actually edited the whole episode this time which he hasn’t done for quiet some time so was great to see it all done from his point of view. Remember to bleed your fish, they will taste much better any way you decide to cook or not cook them! And when you have one hooked set the hook by pulling hard and fast at first, you'll lose less. Good luck!!!

Thanks so much!! Camera wise we’ve been literally using our iPhone 13 Pro lately and a go pro for underwater and then drone! And for editing we use a MacBook and adobe premier pro 😃 cheers

Hey Giuseppe, it’s an app on thr phone called Travel Boast. And then you can change the ratio to fit for socials or KZfaq. We just make it on the phone and then airdrop it to our computer
