That's an insult to their parenting. And also all these girls are older and they're able to do grown up shit like make adult songs n party ... that intro tell you a lot... And I'm not saying they bad people, but they should be asking this question when she 16 or 17... The parents allowed her to leave for the summer with them maybe they should continue that.... And work their way into moving her in about 17... I don't see an overprotective parent at all...

I love seeing young Black people steering away from the traditional Black parenting methods and going back and standing up to their parents to make up for the times that they couldn't. Ti and Daysha are making sure Trinity has the advocate that they didn't have growing up, and that's a very honorable thing to do for your sister.

There's no explanation to yell at you're child when they're asking and pleading you to help them and give them space. There is no when you get older she's 16 she almost legal. She is old she is mature enough, yah backhand these kids and your excuse is to victimize yourself which is why half of yah grow up for years not knowing where your child is and what they're because they don't want to speak to you. Learn to know your mistakes. This is toxicity and no kid should grow up feeling like they can't talk to you.

That’s why kids go sneak and do stuff, they parents just say not to do this and that but they never put out a reason and if it is a reason 9 times outta 10 it’s a reason they made up to just make it they way. And it’s understandable that they her parents but as long as you know you did/do good raising yo child there’s nothing to be worried about and if you worried about other ppl you should teach yo kids how to deal with certain people so they know cus we all gotta get out there in the real world one day🤷🏽‍♀️

it’s sad that they’re not even acknowledging how she feels . that’s the problem with parents . putting kids in a box for which emotions children can feel . this is sad to watch . idk about her living with her sisters but her living at home clearly isn’t it either . they not even treating her like a real human being .

Portland Brewer Um what?? You can clearly see she’s not able to express her feelings to her parents and she says they always take things the wrong way which is exactly what went on in my household. I could never talk without them trying to argue or shut me down. That’s the issue with black households, y’all act like kids don’t have feelings and that’s why depression is so common among teens in the black community. Every since I moved for college I’ve been feeling better not being in the house anymore.

@@portlandbrewer5504 kay, but you gotta understand that she been holding onto these emotions for dumb long. daysha herself said that she’s come to them crying cus she don’t wanna be there and when they mentioned her being depressed and stuff, they parents both denied it, and that’s prolly cus she feel like she can’t express herself to them cus it’s immediately them barking at her. she’s clearly overwhelmed with her feelings and it prolly happened to really get to her this time and make her cry cus they don’t even listen to her. crying doesn’t mean she’s tryna be bratty or whiny. she’s frustrated.

@@yaeo9786 But! instead of always feeling attacked why don't you feel like maybe they really care. I am not sure how your household is but I never raised my voice at my mother so she always says she respect for that if she matching yelling with yelling whos really listening seems like everyone is just listening to respond. So gather the feelings because yes they are yelling but all that whining and crying she doing is not helping its hindering.

Chelsea Reid Bro, I feel EXACTLY like this & I’m 19. I’m the last child to leave the house! We can help each other if you want. We just have to take that leap & start somewhere. I’m REALLY working on moving away. Maybe Austin, Texas. I need to find my own independence. Before you know it, I’m going to be 30 & still doing what my MOM think it’s best. Our parents lived their lives. They can not control & live through ours! If you want to talk then let me know, I’ll give you my Instagram.

As a child I was very rebellious. Now that I’m grown and have my own children I understand more of what my mom tried to teach me. She went about things in a way I wouldn’t choose to as a parent but she had valid points. I think Trinity will also understand by and by.

The thing is the parents are talking about Ti and Daysha sneaking out and so on, but they are the ones who raised them, keeping them inside the same way they are doing Trinity, And they spoke of parents saying to "get their kid" but they don't know how those parents kids are really turning out. And how are they not even letting her be with her own Sisters. She needs her sisters because she only has a younger brother who wouldn't be able to give her advice on certain stuff and obviously her parents don't listen to and understand how she feels or care to calmly explain stuff to her. I understand it's their last daughter but they're gonna push her away from them even more. They're really setting their own selves up by doing this.
