As you all know, the MK8 platform is able to run E85 from the factory without much work other than a tune. But what happens if you need to drive your car to an area where E85 isn't readily available? Unitronic has developed a completely plug and play Flexfuel system and tune for the MK8 that leaves you with the option to run anything from pump gas to pure E85! In this video we will walk you through the installation process, the mobile app, and some dyno runs on different E85 blends to show you how it all works!

Can I install this ethanol content reader without being tuned by Uni? I am e85 tuned by EQT (custom) but like the ethanol reader by Uni to be displayed on the dash.

You guys are running this on a Dynojet and you can clearly see it say STD correction factor on the top right of the results. Its already corrected for the atmospheric conditions. It is not so much the weather - this needs more revision.

We have plenty of runs on the same file making way more power in previous videos. Appreciate the input though!! We will hit the dyno again in the fall I am sure as more and more software is released for our cars ^_^

We def. will after we test the Garrett PMax, since the PMax is less to swap in, itll be what we do first!

Ok, I think I may just go for the stage 1 tune for my mk8 R, fug it. I had them on my mk7 R (as seen on thatdudeinblue’s channel) and I never had an issue with them. I’m just waiting on that TCU tune tho
