The Kingdom of God is just that - a kingdom. It’s not a democracy; it’s not a republic; nor is it a dictatorship. It’s a kingdom. And in every kingdom, you’ve a king and you’ve subjects. For any kingdom to run smoothly, it has to be structured according to rank, order and delegated authority. This is true in a kingdom as it is in a family, and in a church. Understanding our need for covering will save us a lot of pain and heartaches.
