Also treating people with kindness and empathy. And the ability he has to be so positive without being dishonest. I’ve heard him say that he had a goal, when he started with KZfaq, to keep it positive because a lot of really sad, difficult things happen in animal rescue. But he wanted to keep it real at the same time. Somehow he’s able to do both 💜

Dog named Seven mad me so sad and angry How can any 2 legged animal let this happen ! It looks like she had prior babies. Probably wasn’t needed any more. People who do this, there is a place in hell for you. She and the others are in the best hands now. Thank you and your team for all you do. I know the work you do is exhausting and you need to take time for you so you can go on doing what you do! Please do an update later to say how Seven is doing. ❤️

Such precious pups, thank you for taking them home. The first one really got me. She was terrified and abused, heartbreaking at first. But she’ll be fine now, thanks to you and all those who worked for her rescue and care.

That is so true! I have a shepherd mix who was frightened by everything in the world and in bad shape at 4 months old. The time, patience and love will help support her in her healing. Thank you for giving her and the other cuties the chance they deserve to have their best lives!❤️

Lee, thank you for saving and sharing your love for all of these beautiful pups, sometimes I wish we lived closer so we could help you with the kisses and hugs from the rescue dogs, I have a few babies but I like the different ones so much because I learn more about their breed. I won't walk away from the older ones, I have been there for several over the years because some one threw them away, I love them and show them all the affection I have in me until they go to heaven and that's what I see in you. I'm so happy you have a wonderful place and of course a big beautiful loving heart with people around you loving helping these babies too. I love your new babies, waiting for next pack walk with each of them, best of everything sending you from MI Hope your having a wonderful time.

Another amazing rescue day with such beautiful creatures who have no idea they just hit the Asher House lottery! I can’t wait to see an update on all of them, but especially the little underfed and neglected girl with the sad eyes. We have a Shephard, maybe Belgian, running the streets right now that is so skinny you can see every bone. I drive around looking for her and try to give her food. She's so scared, she'll eat a little bit and then run. She looks like she recently had puppies too. 😢 I try to help her, it's beyond heart breaking. No one can get close to help her. THANK YOU FOR HELPING THESE ANGELS

You can get animal control in your area to help you catch her and if you want you can ask them to make sure they call you if she can be adopted. She should be off the streets asap, fed and taken care of. Sounds like you won’t be able to catch her on your own and they have people and equipment to do so. Best of luck and bless you!

I pray they All find forever loving homes! ❤thank you. I fostered 14 dogs and 1 cat. It's hard bc I wanted to keep them all, we have 3 dogs, 4 cats and 1rabbit all rescues. We love them all ❤

Thanks Lee for all your reminders that dogs and other animals often need to be quarantined when they first come to the Sanctuary depending on where they come from. And for reminding us that they all get regular vet care, etc., etc. We know you and your team always do this but it's good that you remind us. 😊

It shattered my heart to see Seven, she’s so beautiful, and has been through so much. I love watching how Lee gets so excited with every dog, they all have a special place in his heart from the moment he meets them. I love rescue days, knowing those precious babies are going to be safe and loved from now on. I can’t wait to see what some love and the pack can to do help heal these wounds.

I have to be content in supporting The Asher House and other rescues now because I no longer have my huge Victorian that I had in San Francisco with a massive backyard and extra rooms for all of the crates for the dogs I fostered. ❤ 🐾 I’ll get my fostering vicariously through Lee now!

I get a Great Big Lift every time I see a "new" dog getting a home on Lee's sanctuary. Each pup has a unique story that is not so good. Little Seven stole my heart the most out of this group. I am so grateful that Lee and his rescue exist. Because of Lee, I adopted a 3 1/2 yr old German Shepherd, instead of a puppy. Holly is one of the best dogs I ever had and I adore her. We have been taking 5=8 mo old foster puppies, training, loving and adopting them out to great forever homes. My last foster is also a gsd and she went through so much in her 5 months before she got rescued, I can't give her up. She's 10 months now and a wonderful loving girl. I'm still working on animal interactions w her but I'm keeping her. I never thought I would want 2 dogs again but they are amazing girls and have brought me so much laughter and happiness. Thanks Lee for showing me that age doesn't matter.
