In collaboration with Mott MacDonald, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, West Yorkshire Business and Skills and The Careers & Enterprise Company, young people in each region of West Yorkshire have been taking part in an interactive youth consultation project to explore the opportunities that a new mass transit system could bring to West Yorkshire.
The year 12 students took part in workshops and activities to explore the opportunities that a new mass transit system would bring as well as the impact that its development would have on their communities. They then had the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions with representatives from West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Mott MacDonald who are involved in the project.
