Isaac is another MCM legend, he pops up as a subject matter expert so often. But the subject he's the expert on is always so different! Guitars, VW's, Suzuki nuggets, Civic turbo conversions... awesome 👌

I really enjoy seeing the "behind the scenes " stuff. Makes it so much more real and respectful for the channel. You guys are awesome! Every person that makes both of these channels happen is very appreciated. It's fun, it's educational, and it definitely inspires people to try it on their own. I stare at my toyota yaris and go....damn...I could do that. Always jealous of the meals you guys make, or buy. If you ever want maine lobster I'm in and providing.

The little zooks dont get enough love. ive got an old vitara on 30's and its litterally built like a tank. i even got rear ended at some traffic lights and managed to destroy the rad on the car that hit me, and smashed the rear bumper of a BMW in front of me. but the little zook came out with hardly a scratch

I just bought a 4X4 recently. Ready to get it off-road. It’s a ‘22 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. 3.6L NA pushing near 300hp, not sure the KW conversion… 33” tires, Dana 44 lockers, disconnecting sway bar. It’s like a Jeep with a tray as y’all call it ( a bed here in the States). Can’t wait to get it off-road

Nice and pretty simple set up's to both those rigs. I do like how the Hilux owner said AT's over Muds. I agree, Muddies are not as good on road and in some cases off road also not as good. Not a fan of those LED whips though, I just don't see the point in them, its not like you can drive with them on. The Zook is cool too, those things are a lot more capable than people think. The 12v system he mentioned sounds similar to mine with a 140ah AGM, Ctek D250SE DC-DC & a drawer fridge.

Pretty sure the sidewalls on those BFG all terrains will be just as rigid as the mud terrains, as from memory they are still a Light Truck rated tyre. When I looked into it there are not many tyres around in the NSW legal (without engineering) sizes for Moogs era of Jimny (like mine) that have all terrain grip but light weight sidewalls. So I just went back to highway terrain. Currently running 215/75r15, but hopefully next will go to the rare 235/70r15 for maximum balloon tyre effect (there are also rare cookie cutter sizes probably better for offroad and maybe even wet conditions - thin for less resistance in sand and max psi of contact patch) but I like the 1970's dune buggy, stoner van, muscle car tyre balloony look. And that tyre size ends up 6.5% larger diameter than max factory option so doesn't go above the 7% increase in diameter where engineering is required in NSW. I think I might aim to get diff locks and a set of snow chains before worrying about chunky rubber again on this chatty handling, light weight, low powered 4 wheel nugget. Keep what little semblance of nice ride/handing and zippyness I can for most of the time with still some decent options for the gnar.

@@graemejohnson9025 I repair forestry trails. Lack of traction breaks down the top surface of the unsealed roads. As for trucks. After working twelve years at Main Roads Qld I can assure you sealed roads break down due to shifting road base mixtures depending on weather, standing water and flow, bitumen mixture, bound and rebound induced by the load per axel in their suspension and the gradient. The Cunninham Highway has 30km of sealed surface testing area starting around 6km before the top of the range at the overtaking lanes North of Warick heading down the mountain towards Ipswich. Many of the radar testing programs carried out there are available publicly.
