Jack is proof of how amazing you've been as parents and it's just going to get better once your sweet girl is here. You'll go from 1 to 2 smart kiddos over night. Love the new place but I bet once you get moved into your house you'll be so happy to not have to keep moving or finding a place that fits everything your family needs. Honestly you should be beyond proud of everything you've accomplished in such a short time, I don't know anyone your age to be at this stage, not even those twice your age and that's incredible. So never doubt anything about yourselves or what you can do, you got this!!!

My ex husband was a state champion surfer in Western Australia. He still surfs to this day at 57 and he’s still so awesome at it. When we had our girl our only child now 26. She came to every surf comp every surf spot we went which was usually so out of the way and she was so much like Jack. The more times she got dumped the more she loved the ocean. To this day it’s her happy place. So it wasn’t a dad fail Derick it was how you both reacted after which is fantastic. I’m no expert by any means but it worked well with us also. I was so terrified at first but they have to get used to scary things if they are ever going to enjoy these sports. Love the new home so much more space for you guys. Jack is very precocious! I am amazed at how quickly he catches on to things. He's very observant and definitely will be a wonderful big brother. Pretty certain you're having a girl. Sarah always looks so cute. Loving her feminine touch on your new home. That bed looks so comfy. The new mattress should help a lot during the last months of the pregnancy and that marvelous jacuzzi type bathtub will relax tense muscles.

Miss having a dog but can’t afford one. But seeing you 2 so in love and having a child and expecting another that you so love and so playful with Jack. God , you are the best parents ever. But don’t forget to go out on date night just the two of you once a week. And think of loving or crazy things to do. Your videos upon discovering them made my days. I had 5 different ultrasounds with my second son and was told girl till he came out and was told by the dr that unfolded him LOL, it was shocking and really crazy, we had girl clothes, girl furniture, girl names... but we adore him, He’s Fisher and 20 now lol. Just know there’s always a possibility but it doesn’t happen often, Love you guys, Jack’s obsession with woahs, even to the point of every dream is so special, he may grow up and change the course of aviation somehow... he’s my favorite 💙💙

I love how you share in his discoveries and growth. I never wanted a child bc raised my brother and sisters but the pill did not protect me so hello baby son. What I enjoyed the most was playing with him while pregnant and after, which is discovery for them..fresh minds, new view. The first 4 yrs are critical for a healthy personality from unconditional love and a balanced mind from all the experiences and chances you give him to find himself, like surfing, biking, hiking. He is an outdoors guy for sure. It is already obvious. Just like Dad.. You guys get A+++++ I look forward to watching you all when he is 3-4. Love that age the best bc now they can talk more, are working things out in their minds. @ is about them setting boundaries and you too. if you never say no to a 2 yr old you will raise a brat..they are asking for the no's bc they know where the boundaries are which builds their safety up. So do not see it as being a butthead. it is negotiating their safety..You are suppose to protect them, all animals do this in their own form of communication. talking, which can go on and on but they say the smartest things, and ask the best questions. Made me laugh and think at same time. Like bc I worked as single Mom cooking dinner and cleaning up was partly time he had to wait for me so had to arrange cooking so he was safe also cooked up things on weekends so only had to heat up during week.. but I was with him paying attention to his telling me of his day which is how I started every evening. Develop sharing and thinking about what he did. One day he asked me why I wash the dishes, lets go for our walk now..he was 2 almost 3. I said bc they get dirty, he said so we eat on tomorrow, What I realized is he was working out how to get me away from the sink. I realised I could wash up once he is in bed, walk now. haaa duh. He asked why the sky is blue, why is that not green? I mean hello..good question and it went on. I could sit with him for hours and play bc it was so smart in reality. I see you guys are getting that. Once they start school..sit listen repeat obey..they lose that, it is still there but underneath the other. Enjoy every moment now. xxx
