Community Renewal was appointed to delivery the Our Place project in Ardrossan 2014 - 2019.
Our Place is a place-based initiative from The National Lottery Community Fund. It aims to empower local people and organisations to bring about a massive and lasting positive difference to their neighbourhood.

God help them. At the end of the day it's all about helping them to recover their sense of self-worth, since industry threw Ardrossan on the scrap heap and its people with it. I hope these small beginnings will grow every year.

Born and raised in Ardrossan 1954-1982. Winton primary 1959-1963, Stanley Secondary 1963-1969. Worked construction at Auckenharvie Acadamy 1970/1971 (start-finish) ICI Stevenson 1973-74. British Army June 1974-1982. Alberta Canada Oct 1982. Canadian Forces (Medical 1988-2009, civilian Paramedic 1988-2014). If you have been to B.A.T.U.S. you know where I live 😂

Ardrossan isn't that great it's a ghost town and nothing in it nothing for the kids it's a hole should put more money into saltcoats it's a better town
