Lovely seeing you both and meeting Cooper. So relieved he’s here safe and healthy. He is such a cutie, cherish every second. Our little Granddaughter is also here now and your stories are so similar. They had to stay in and the hospital was so strict we couldn’t go and meet her. We have made up for that since they have been home and now look forward to cuddles with our little Olive ❤xx

What a gorgeous story. I'm sorry to hear you had that one nasty midwife. I have a similar birth story to you. Went in on Thurs, and my daughter was born on Saturday, after 30 hours of labour. I also had one horrible midwife during that time, who more or less said the same things to me, that she said to you. A right jobs worth! Clearly, someone who had lost all connection with their patients. Thankfully the other modwives i had also, were great. That was 18 years ago, and I feel like it was yesterday when you were telling your story. I'm so happy for you both. This is an amazing chapter of your life, and being a parent is a wonderful gift ❤ Cooper is Tommy's double. I have thought that every time I see an IG post from either of you! You're both beaming with joy! God bless all 3 of you xx

Awww he’s so gorgeous…Brings back so many memories…My first baby is 24 now and was a December baby (9th)…I was induced because she was late…My other daughter is 18 in June…I was induced then too so I’ve never spontaneously been in labour too…I’ve had the balloon and you are right, it’s really not too bad at all…It’s lovely to see you all ❤ xx

Aww I’ve been waiting for this video… I was the same, I went for one last scan at 38 weeks (without my partner 🤣) and they told me I was being induced too and I had a baby that night 😮 I was actually starting with labour by the time they examined me and I didn’t even know 🤣 so I only had the drip hormone and the pains came intense with me too… The phone call “you best get to the hospital we are having the baby now”🤣 But congratulations to you both Cooper is beautiful can’t wait to watch all future vlogs xx

Love hearing a birth story! Can’t believe they didn’t get you a wheelchair to go over to labour ward! The epidural is so weird isn’t it I had one when having a emergency c section and I felt like my face had gone numb haha maybe they had ramped it up too much 😄

Oh El you look great and your little boy is just beautiful . Xx As a midwife myself you've explained your birthing process and experience really well.. It is definitely important to trust your own body when it comes to labour, and it's sad that the midwife who gave you the prostoglandin gel could not show more empathy. Despite this, it sounds like you have had an amazing first birthing experience!!
