Remember everyone, animals are NOT gifts. Never 'gift' someone an animal unless you know for sure they want it and are capable of properly caring for it. Naughty animals deserve love and gifts, too! Rex is the main star of the show.

Yes, I read a story on reddit where a bride wanted goldfish as table decor and expected that every guest would take one of the 50 goldfish home. Surprise, no one took a goldfish home. The maid of honor had to take all of them, every one died within a week except 1. That was such a sad story, poor goldfish.

I keep forgetting how big bearded dragons get because the babies at my store are always so small 😅. Also, I want to thank you guys for being such a great resource on caring for reptiles. If it wasn't for you the reptiles in my store would still have the typical uncaring petsmart and petco employee watching over them until they sell. I've fought tooth and nail with my coworkers to improve the lives of the animals amd ensure they get the best care we can offer.

I'm very fortunate to have joined the staff of a PetSmart where everyone in pet care is already super knowledgeable, many if not all of them more than I am about many of the store's animals. It's just fantastic. And yes, beardies get so big! My 10 year old boy that I adopted eight years ago has been 20 inches since I got him. I love my boy.

Sad that corporate entities that advertise how much they love pets, won't actually train employees the best they can. In the end, profit is ALL they care about, they count on good people's generosity of time & knowledge 😔

I feel this! I work at a chain pet store (Petsense) and I fight really hard for the reptiles. A few of my coworkers have jumped on the band wagon since I joined the team. We may not be stopping the unethical breeding problem but at least we can improve the lives of many of these animals 😊

So my dog has destroyed almost every toy I have given him. This year I just happened to get him the exact same gifts that Rex got. I'm glad to see that those toys are alligator resistant.

My husband's family is of Danish descent and that's how they celebrate, we have nisse helpers in our home, too, and my mother in law would leave out porridge for them.

If you think Rex has too many toys regularly rotate which ones are in her enclosure, then she has something to play with that she hasn't used in a while so they stay novel for longer.

I started watching your videos exactly a year ago today and you inspired me to learn about many exotic species. Its only been a year since i joined the hobby and I already own 4 beautiful reptiles (2 corn snakes and 2 crested geckos.) My mom taught me its Christmas shopping year round. You find something and think of someone? Buy it, Save it for Christmas (or birthdays) youll find wayy better deals that way

I remember I did that where I would wait. I get this to watch this in Florida since I got dragged to Florida for Christmas this time around.i just see Emily wearing pants she got from Buc-ee's and we had passed one then went into one and got some stuff from there. I honestly thought she was gonna destroy the toy. The coal kinda look like a brick to me
