I think he might do a fencing project but to take it over on the other side of the Creek as he always talked about someday he wanted to make a pasture on the other side but had to put a bridge in. Or they are going to put a B@B in up by the house, possibly put a 3 car garage with living quarters up above and rent it out as a Bed and Breakfast. It would sure bug me keeping my vehicles outside in the climates.

If you don't already watch them, they'd be a great channel to subscribe to. (Things like collars for roosters that keep them from crowing so loudly out of respect for their neighbors.)

You're Kinda running with the nail gun accident, so keep in mind, farmers get hurt quite often so start picking up your messes as you make them, less chance of injury. When scooping cookie dough, keep a container of water to dip your scoop in from time to time. It makes scooping much faster and easier and saves time. Dip your scoop in the water, shake off the excess and scoop away. Nice job on the dough.

Gina looks like she's herding chickens as she walks down to the goat milking station, lol. And I really love how Willow (is that the mom?) and Nora always look like goat + mini-me, even facing the same direction, whenever you check on the goats in their stall. I have a couple of questions, well, one question and one suggestion. Can you sprinkle the type of concrete that sets up rapidly on top of the gravel you just spread out so that there is less erosion? And the suggestion: I think making raised flower beds on two or three sides of the pig butchering area would really dress it up for the times it's not being used.

Good Morning Al and family. We just fill a 5 gallon bucket halfway with water, put enough black sunflower seeds to cover the top of the water and put a stick hovering over the seeds for the mouse to crawl up. The sunflower seeds looks like a solid surface, so the mouse will get in and can't get out. I'm not sure if you have already done that. I am catching up on old vlogs. I'm so glad your leg is okay. I'm not a mean person, but I couldn't stop laughing at how nonchalant you were. But, back to work, things to do, no time to rest. Gina I laughed with you and the egg incident. I had a similar issue 2 days ago however I was making breakfast and I have a gas stove with grates. I cracked the egg on the counter by the pan and it broke completely on the first try and the egg slid right down over the grate and into the well. One would think it would have cooked but it didn't. I had to turn off the gas and clean everything up. Only the yolk survived to be fried. The White part kept sliding around and ended up in the garbage. The egg only cooked on the grate part. Got it all cleaned up and started again except by this time the bacon and toast was cold. It happens to the best of us. LOL

Quick tip for cleaning up flour. Always use cold water on the cloth when you wipe it up. Warm water will make it sticky and take more effort to clean it up! :)

I like when he says it's a beautiful morning out there this morning and the video immediately cuts to his wife. It isn't the first time I noticed this.

Could you install a triangled roof cover at the door entrance of the green house to avoid the snow blocking it ? So the snow falls off to the sides like /\ shape 😂🤦 Oh boy am i bad at explaining things

No, you're actually very good at explaining it as it's easy to see in the mind's eye what it is you're implying. It's a good idea to keep the snow away from the greenhouse entrance!

JudithB Good idea, but I would build an airlock building against the doors. It would dump snow off to the sides and keep cold air from rushing into the greenhouse. I access my greenhouse from inside the barn and Arkansas is no where close as cold as up there!!!

It is easy to check if the eggs are too old to keep. Just put them in water, if they float chuck them, if they sink they are still good.

We are building our new house now, and we use metal bands to hinder the mice in entering our house. There are mouse bands, mouse brushes and plates with tiny holes, and other things such that you could mouse proof your milking room with whatever suits best. With such a tiny room, all you have to do is making sure there are no openings wider than the width of a pencil...
