I’ve just rebuilt the same machine and about to sow ryegrass. Can I ask what settings you run at for kg to the hectare

I bought the slow speed gear kit which helped immensely and for sowing rape seed I had a gear made on the primary drive which slowed it as well. You need to measure out 100 metres and catch the machines output to callibrate and in turn adjust the machine accordingly. Very fiddley but I seem to remember the fluted rollers were under half in the runs. Hope this helps. Where about are you located?

@@andrewjoyce7789 thanks for the prompt reply, I'm running the two 45t second speed on seed and fert box. following the user guide setting state number 6 but that has about 3/4 of fluted rollers exposed. was curious to know of your experiences sowing grasses. I'm in central Vic near Heathcote
