THIS is how you do a movie about a gay couple. You explore the universal part, not just them being gay. Show that these problems can affect anyone and gay or straight, PEOPLE deal with them. I hope this movie does well and inspires more like it.

Huge fans of them both and it's about bloody time that gay and lesbian couples are being openly portrayed in movie and television shows as having the same problems and struggles as their heterosexual counterparts when it comes to love and family

This looks like a really sensitive portrayal of what divorce can be like when children are involved.

This looks like it will be incredible. Hard to watch at time… watching people who love each other fight over a child, always is. Wonderful actors, emotional roles. Looks like an excellent film.

I work for a divorce lawyer who works from home… most the time she’s on speaker phone with her clients and I can literally hear marriages like this fall apart😢 heartbreaking to listen to it. Divorce really brings out the worst in people

"Who doesn't want to be Cinderella?" It'd have been more ironic if Luke said Belle instead of Cinderella.

I started bawling during this trailer. I support the LGBTQ+ Community and am a huge Billy Porter fan and I'm glad that this Community finally is getting movies made, that are more "true to life" than using them to perpetuate stereotypes. I can't wait to watch!

I saw Marriage Story and said: what would this be like with gay people? And here it is. I guess i wished upon the right star.

How great that they’re making a 🌈 film that that is so universal through society. My hubby was raised in an LGTBQ+ family and his mum was divorced 3 times with men and had separated a few times from female partners. 60% of my husbands family is LGBTQ+ and about 25% mine. We grew up with entertainers, drag queens people in fashion, the navy, construction, different ethnicities. It’s so diverse in our families yet most of both our families have been through divorce or separation of a de facto/common law relationship. This movie covers parenthood, love, divorce etc which is shared by so much of the wider community. Whilst LGBTQ+ stories are important the representation has either been the camp fun BFF,struggles of coming out or persecution which are all important ofcourse but this shows the community in the same or similar struggles as most people in society. The more representation of all people showing our commonality as human beings the more that we can see ourselves in each other and hopefully that’s where compassion and progress can occur. What a beautiful and important movie. Billie, Luke and the rest of the cast are amazing and I’m excited to watch this even though I’m sure hubby and I will both cry. Thank you ❤

This movie is perfect! Every set of parents go through a period when you have a family where you question EVERYTHING. Do you give your child too much attention? Are you not giving your partner enough attention? Is the parenting aspect being done more by one parent than the other? These are struggles that we have ALL faced but to see it portrayed by 2 amazing actors...perfection. I HAVE to watch this movie.

I feel like at the end they just thank each other for what they had and agree to have a happy divorce, bonded by their son. Clearly, many man/woman relationships can end up this way and this must be one way of exploring it for man/man couples.

This is so sweet, its about time the community got a sweet heartwarming movie. I love queer horror and camp comedies but its very heartwarming to see that queer media is getting mainstream treatment like straight couples where theres a variety of movies of the community.
