Жыл бұрынOur song “Old Home Place,” written by Mitch Jayne and Dean Webb has become a bluegrass standard covered by stars like J.D. Crowe, Billy Strings, Mo Pitney, and many more.
This scene was literally filmed on a farmhouse porch and is from our documentary, “The Dillards - A Night in the Ozarks,” which was a fantastic project conceived, written, and directed by John McEuen.

“Old Home Place” first appeared on our 1963 debut album (Back Porch Bluegrass) and the song is published by Lansdowne Music/Winston Music Publishers ASCAP.

I just read about this film in the book Everybody On The Truck by Lee Grant and the Original Dillards. We have been so blessed to meet Rodney, Beverly and the newest version of the band. I treasure their autographs in the front of the book. Rodney could do a lecture type speaking engagement at Mayberry Days to a sell out crowd talking about their journey through the years and the talent they’ve worked with along the way. I’d buy front row seats for my husband and me.
