These Arma videos are generally the best infantry combat milsim content you’ll find, but what about looking into a greater emphasis on combined arms stuff like with more armour or artillery tactics at play with similar regard to realistic tactics?

Yup, this and Moi Dawgs "Eye in the sky" are my favorite. Obviously Squad is a bit more arcadey than Arma but its still enjoyable.

Phantom took exception to that "This Phantom can't hit a thing comment" early on and out positioned you. Almost perfectly done, but they dropped the ball on that ambush.

I’ve been wanting to get a gaming PC for a while now. May be getting one soon and will be playing this game immediately when I do lol I personally like the slow pace more “realistic” (as much as a game can be is suppose) but as a console player I’m not a fan of COD and other insanely fast paced FPS’s. I play Insurgency Sandstorm which is alright when you play with good teammates it can get pretty cool and professional. Can’t wait to play this game and your the reason😂

I tried but unfortunately my pc cannot handle the mods. I can run arma 3 with great graphics but for some reason the mods are to much.

Is there ever going to be a fix with the limitation of NVG's for players vs your guys squads? Watching this video and then hopping in the lib server it's actually ridiculous the difference in contrast between BLU and OP NVG's especially for the fact the BLU are rangers lol... The static and darkness is so bad to the point you cant even see a friendly silhouette 5 feet in front of you without zooming in... With the EXACT same NVG's you are using in this video. Yet you can see miles worth of clarity... That just seems really really unfair honestly. Especially when 90% of the time I have ever been on the server it's fucking night time lol.

The NVG's on my end and from what I hear from everyone else they complain about it having so much static to the point it inhibits how we see. It honestly has in all truth maybe a 2% difference compared to just raw dogging the night life, could this be a bug server end or with a mod? They have never looked like how yours are unless it's hitting dawn @@karmakut

@@acidpoptart4270 Blufor gets better NVGs lol. Same clarity settings though, blufor just gets dual tubes. The static is effected by light level, no light is gonna make it grainy as fuck and extremely hard to see, just like real life, night vision amplifies existing light, it doesn't create it. You can make it a lot better by using flares.

@@acidpoptart4270 Oh wait I see the confusion, this is older footage, they had to remove the mod that had the nods shown in the video (blufor had access to them too), nowadays OPFOR get's the same quality night vision as BLUFOR, just way narrower due to being single tube

Yeah I assumed this was older footage by how it seemed. But I know nogs doesn't 'create' light. It truly was buggy, however I played last night and it seemed to be give or take like the video. Don't know what it was or if my eyes were just having a good day lol@@shardell

If you and I are thinking about the same person (first heard around the 11 minute mark, I think) that's not a random bot, and learning to understand him can be a process through his accent. I've heard him in a few of Karma's videos.

The biggest difference that still keeps this “realistic” simulation from being that realistic is the ridiculously fast turn rate that a mouse and the adjustable response curve allows. Having a small window of realistic human based movement and turn/aim speed is the real determining factor to skill in a milsim
