I was thinking similarly. It's basically a bokeh effect, which is pronounced almost like bouquet, so that's even apropos. 😃

It is the first week of spring in South Africa, and I am sowing seeds today, including sunflower seeds, which is a first ever for me in over 20 years of gardening 🌻🤗 I can’t think why I have never tried them before because I love them as cut flowers. I guess better late than never 😍 Happy gardening everyone 🙋🏽♀️

Sunflowers are the flowers of children. All the children in my daycare class, always pick it as their first choice of plants that they want us to plant in our peace garden. Have a great day.🌻🌻🌻

You are right, It is most favorable in kids. Everyone of my kid in their pre-k class, brought home a sunflower pot at the end of the school year and we planted them in ground and took pictures when they bloomed. So I've a special picture of each of them with their very first plant grown from seed which is ofcourse a sunflower. 🌻

This is by far the most beautiful sunflower bouquet I've ever seen. Usually I don't like them because they seem to just get thrown in with a mish-mass of flowers and it just looks chaotic.

Ben, we are also in Texas and my daughter is a teacher. They’ve been doing virtual class since the first part of August and she is pulling out her hair! After Labor Day they start live in room class. Her virtual class has 37 students and she’s there until after 7pm typing in code and answering almost 50 emails a day. She’d shoot me for sharing that😬 She also enjoys Laura’s and Aaron’s videos. She said it’s an oasis in the midst of such mayhem. I pray all the teachers are blessed with positive and uplifting parents. I also pray God gives you all a heaping helping of patience, mercy and tons of grace☺️ It makes my day to watch Garden Answer in the morning! I have trouble sleeping and on occasion I watch their video before I go to sleep.(That’s when it posts really, really early!) My mom passed away in May but before she passed we planted some sunflowers and they were the most beautiful flowers ever. She did not get to see them bloom but it was such a sweet memory everytime time I saw them. Yours are so beautiful.

No sign of fall in this bouquet; it's all summer, all day long. Seeing sunflowers in these fresh new colors has really changed the way I view them, both in the garden and in arrangements. It can be a challenge to create an arrangement with sunflowers because they tend to dominate everything so completely, that the other flowers almost go unnoticed. Maybe it's the focus on white and cream tones that make this bouquet so exquisite; perfectly balanced and each flower holding its own. The love in a puff just makes it. ~ Lisa

Beautiful arrangement! I wanted to share that a number of years ago, when I always placed fresh floral arrangements in my limousines as they would go out for events, however one time I was out of green foam and time. Desperate, I snipped a few juniper shrub ends which worked very well as a frog.

My daughter planted a few sunflower 🌻 seeds by herself. They came up just fine. She was so happy and proud. Easy project for kids and easy to grow!

☀️🌻 Love your garden space. Such a pretty arrangement. 🐿🌻🐿🌻Every time I plant sunflower seeds at my house in the flowers, the squirrels eat the seeds before they ever have a chance. I can plant them down in the garden area and they don’t bother them. 🌻🦜It is so much fun to watch the birds in the fall enjoy their snack in the garden!!! I’ll cut the big heads of seeds and bring up to the house and lay on the fence row for them to enjoy. Great job. Everything is so pretty.☀️🌻💕🐝🦋☀️

Next year consider planting sunflower just along the fence, so you will have access to all of them right away. And in case of wind you can tight them to fence ,no need of stakes.

Such beauty, I didn't know that there is so many colors of sunflower so that you can have some in almost any arrangement. Another thing that I notice because I love your farmstead and videos is you always have at least 30 thumbs down, lol. I find it funny if these guys don't like farming, flowers, or the such, 'Why do they even watch?" Mercy people never cease to amaze. Either way, I really love the videos and on such a wide variety of subjects. You're like the girl next door and so open and honest. Thanks for giving me something to watch while I'm hiding in my house on generator waiting of our power to be restored and it is hot and humid here. But all in all God blessed us.

Sunflowers are fun to grow and they reseed themselves. I have really enjoyed mine in my very small flower garden. Mine started from the bird seed I was using to feed the birds. Just love the sunflowers. Watching them turn during the day with the sun is awesome.

I love sunflowers!!! I had no idea they had so many varieties. I planted seeds in a tray in my greenhouse-and something dug them up and ate every seed 😩😂 I’ll try again next year!

Looks like a wedding bouquet. the next time when you have a empty vase, fill the face full of vertical branches / twigs, and then stick the flowers between the twigs, and that'll give it stability compared to chicken wire. Like to use branches from the birch tree as a base for the flower arrangement. also, I usually put a few more greens before I add the flowers. thanks for sharing it's just beautiful. If you have a large straw baskets, stick the arrangement inside the basket and will be most fitting for Labor Day Picnic in the garden.

I planted sunflowers years ago but only about 20 and all were mammoths buy this has inspired me to use a huge spot of our yard to make a patch of all different kinds of sunflowers and do it from start to finish with my granddaughter, she loves sunflowers like I do and we both love flowers so what better than to create a new memory with her and creating a beautiful sunflower garden for the everyone to enjoy. I live in Texas zone 8b so I will research to see when the best time would b to plant . I figure 1/2 an acre will be perfect. Beautiful flower arrangement!!

Such a feast for the eyes.. Love, love, love the selection. Did you happen to have gladiolus in there too? It may have been snap dragons. So pleased with the work that you do. I am determined to have a sunflower patch next year 😊 thanks for sharing. 🌻

I loved watching this video and your others about all the different varieties of sunflowers and seeing the difference in their growth habits. The arrangement you made was gorgeous, as always. Interestingly, my husband suffers from Trypophobia, ( who knew there was such a thing? !), and does not like looking at sunflowers, coneflowers, etc. They give him the willies! Sooo, I have not grown sunflowers, but I love coneflowers, daisies, etc and have plenty of them. He doesn't seem to mind them since they are smaller. Anyway thanks Laura and Aaron. You always start my day out right!
