You can tell Sammy’s vivid memories are laser inscribed into his memory banks. He has said when he talks about these memories it’s like he relives them. You can see it in his eyes and on his face that he’s right back there reliving these moments in time in his life. Truly extraordinary. Thank you Sammy for sharing, because some of these stories are tough to talk about I’m sure.

God bless you Sam… I sit here with tears in my eyes. Grateful for you and your honesty… my heart goes out to those left behind. Those left behind to pick up the pieces in the wake of the sudden end to a great man’s life. Rip Frankie. At the time I was just another Working stiff in the neighborhood. And I could honestly say I looked up to you and your men. Mind you not in some shallow hero worshiping kind of way… but more in an eternally grateful kind of way… One that allowed everyone living in our neighborhood to always feel a strong sense of community, love, pride respect and safety … Without attempting to speak for the whole neighborhood I do believe I can say beyond a showdown of a doubt my family along with most others families living on or near bath avenue at that time felt safe and very secure…We always felt this way in our neighborhood…. This I believe (and in no small part) was a result of you Sammy and your men… Once again thank your brave no holds barred glimpse into the true life and times of our neighborhood… And with that I will end with my acknowledgments of a great debt of gratitude I owe to you Sam… you are an amazing example of a man’s man… Yours truly, Michael Natale Michael Natale

According to certain people, the Gotti regime "didn't do nothin back to the other families" when their guys were getting killed off by Gaspipe and Chin. The Lucchese and Genovese families were killing Gambinos with no consequences.

Thank you Mr. Gravano. On my day off I enjoyed eating chipotle and a brownie my favorite while watching this episode. I was waiting for this to come out. Your story telling is incredible and unbelievable. Tapped into a new market. It's an art you can't learn. Just got it. Please keep doing these stories. I enjoyed them and very informational. It's the truth from your eyes and the source. Nothing made up. That why so good and special.

Sammy was realistic and not a blind soldier. Once I heard Gotti on those tapes all loyalty would have gone out the window for me. Many in the mob are thugs but some are really intelligent and know how to play the game well, like Sammy. I'm thinking the most dangerous time is when you are young and you still have a smart mouth and take unnecessary chances or you are in the crossfire for other hits. He did screw up with selling drugs after it all, if he didn't do that he would have been in a better position.
